Unclaimed Items every time I open the app

Every time I open the app, I get the “Unclaimed Items” window, which is a 1 Troop Choice.
After clicking the “Claim” button and picking an option, I get an error window “Could not claim troop reward”.

Ditto!
This is happening on both the mobile and PC. It has happened for a couple of days.
Unclaimed Items, 1 Troop Choice, click claim. Next I get to choose, a star for a troop, I make my choice, “Could not claim troop reward” Something went wrong when claiming troop reward. 12.0.0.115314/115314
Click OK, “Failed to claim pending reward” …
