PVP balancing problem

First of all, I’d like to thank Blizzard and the Warcraft Rumble team for making this game. You’ve made a really good game, PVE / PVP, fun…

Despite that, the PVP doesn’t seem very balanced to me, and I’m not talking about level differences, it’s ‘FREE TO PLAY’, so I don’t have a problem with that.

But I think there’s a big problem with spell balancing! You can totally dominate your opponent and lose… just because they cast a spell on your base… Depending on the game mode and the map, this can be really frustrating.
When you look at one of your biggest rivals, “Clash Royale”, all the damage spells have reduced damage on towers and I think it’s better than spamming spells on towers…

I think there are two possible solutions for Warcraft Rumble:

  • Do what you did with ‘deported’ minis, make it impossible to execute spells above the main base and prevent ‘Deep Breath’ from affecting the main base either.
  • Significantly reduce the damage of spells on the main base.

Reducing damage seems to me to be the best solution, and I think it would be a good start to balancing PVP more.
