At the bottom of the screen, a number 1 with a red background is overlaid on the Army button’s top right corner. When I open it, nothing inside is marked, highlighted, or otherwise indicating that it wants attention. Despite clicking every troop, emote, and button in there, the white-on-red number 1 remains stuck on the Army button.
Edit:
I figured out how to temporarily clear the notification: Scroll all the way to the bottom of the Army screen to reveal the emotes, and then attempt to drag-scroll past the bottom. The scroll area will resist and bounce back, and the notification [1] will go away for the moment, but will just come back again later. Also, using the mouse wheel to scroll does not clear it.

Same issue here and now it’s on the chest button as well
have the same problem. There is a count of 3 units /highlights, meaning I should mouse-over three of my minis. Since I have been clicking on everything already, mixed up my army a dozen times and checked on everything, I would like to report this bug again. This does only happen on my PC, not on mobile (Android).
Device type: PC
Model: Intel CPU, Nvidia graphics card
OS: Windows 11 (all updates installed)
Rumble version: 11.1.0.112559 (and before)
Yes I can play the game, but it sure is annoying to have that button highlighted the whole time…

This bug is still present in 11.2.0.114137.
It was made even worse in 12.0.0.115222:
Now there are [2] stuck notifications on the Army button. One of them can be cleared, but must be cleared again every session. The other one seems impossible to clear.
Come on, folks. You can do better than this.
This is still a problem on 22 MAY 2025. Like FFS how hard is this to fix?

Those notifications can be cleared with a couple of tricks. The first is to click-and-drag through the tab’s contents. Sometimes there’s a specific spot in that scrollable tab (like the kobold or tower skins section), where it doesn’t think you saw a specific new item (like the locked kobold skins they added) because it’s easier to navigate by pressing the tab button multiple times to navigate instead.
The 2nd trick is under the Armies tab, check the “Skins” section of a unit that has more than one skin. Units with more than one skin include:
- Tirion
- Arthas
- Sneed
- Gryphon Rider
- S.A.F.E. Pilot
- Dark Iron Miner
- Footmen
Either checking that specific spot in the first trick or checking a skin from any of the troops listed above should remove the notification.
This has been long resolved in the Reddit and Discord communities. FFS how did you not check there first?

Your “tricks” are workarounds, not fixes. If people are still seeing the stuck notifications, then the problem is not resolved.

But is it a bug if it’s a notification that you have a new skin? The notifications disappear when you finally check the areas you haven’t.
I do agree that it feels fairly buggy that the notification will go away when looking at any skin. It should be for the specific skin you unlocked.
When the notification was on 3 or 4 for a while, it was because the Alliance and Horde kobold skins (from the $70 “Deluxe Kickstart P.A.C.K.”) were added, but locked to most players, so they wouldn’t understand why those notifications were there. Same thing would happen with any tower skins that weren’t unlocked; they’d have this same behavior. That bug was eventually resolved.
There was a simultaneous bug where notifications would reset each time players returned to the menus, and you’d need to clear those notifications each time you logged in. That was also resolved.
At this point, players don’t have stuck notifications. It’s just they have notifications they haven’t cleared for months. Once cleared using those “workarounds” for the areas they haven’t checked yet, the notification will disappear and not reappear.
Mine popped up last night . 6/28/25.
So it is not fixed . It is a bug .
No. Some players are still experiencing stuck notifications. We know how to clear them; it doesn’t work.
Now, please stop adding noise to the bug report.
