This is quite an exciting update! Thank you for the effort and communication, we all truly appreciate it!

Suggestions for More Balanced Mechanics:

  1. Ancient of War (AoW) – Too OP or Too Useless
Right now, AoW is either overwhelmingly strong or completely ineffective, making matches feel like a coin toss. To improve its viability beyond Lightning Rod, consider limiting the number of redirects it can take. A possible mechanic:
  • 1 spell/unbound redirect for every 3 gold spent, starting at 4 gold.
  • Example: At 4/7/10 gold, AoW can redirect 1/2/3 spells.

If this change is too much, adjust its attack speed, health, or damage to maintain balance.

  1. Treants – Make Them Viable
Treants are the most useless minis in the game. Why are they not Unbound or part of the Cycle trait? Possible fixes:
  • Give them a special “Enroot” ability, similar to Warcraft’s Ancients. Like revive skill of harvest golem but make it stationary. Or any other special skill.
  • Make them Cycle! Example: 2 gold for 4 Treants.
  • Alternatively, Unbound at 3 gold for 4 Treants.
  1. Earth & Moon’s Earthroot Spell – Needs Improvement
Earthroot should function like Blizzard and Starfall, staying on the battlefield for its full duration (i.e. enemies that enter the AOE a few seconds after it was cast can still be inflicted). Right now, spending 3 gold for a weak root that doesn’t disarm, can’t target air, and deals negligible damage feels completely unjustified.
Or Give it an ACTUAL DEFENSIVE FUNCTION THAT THE TOOLTIP says. Like maybe able to target friendly minis, granting shield (living armor) that blocks 2 instances of physical damage.

  2. Druid of the Claw – Needs a Default Skill
Druid of the Claw should come with a default ability:

  • Rejuvenation as its base skill in Druid form.
  • Roar as its base skill in Bear form.

Rework its talents into something more meaningful:

  • Rejuvenation improvement: Double effect or double duration, targets two units.
  • Regenerates 100% HP upon transformation.
  • Gain splash in druid; cleave or knock back attack in Bear form.
  1. Dryad’s Thorns Talent – Completely Useless
Dryad’s Thorns talent needs a rework. Right now, it adds nothing meaningful to gameplay. Consider changing it to something more impactful. Maybe a skill like abolish magic that periodically dispels slows, poisons, and burns of allied minis? Or make her spears pierce up to 3 enemies behind her original target.

6 ) Moonkin – Needs a Complete Overhaul
Moonkin is another underwhelming mini that feels unreliable. It should have just one type of attack instead of alternating between different attacks. To compensate, it should have a passively triggering AoE skill every 3rd attack, with the AoE stacking on top of its single attack.

Its talent also needs serious changes. Empower Spell is nearly useless since Cenarion minis are already too expensive, unreliable, and lack synergy. If the goal is to encourage spell-based builds, then Moonkin should be 2 gold?

  1. Is it possible to have building minis? Give AoW redirect skill only WHILE IT IS ROOTED/IMMOBILE, then after its redirect is all consumed, begins walking.
Onu already has the same rooted mechanism as with petrify?

  2. Can malfurion change on of his talents into being able to summon wisps? Also, wisps should be the ONE GOLD CYCLE MINI THAT CENARIONS SHOULD HAVE! Should function like goblin sappers. 1 gold, 3 wisps, each wisp can detonate at 5 radius upon contact to enemies, healing allies and and damaging enemies. The total damage/healing done should be the same as arclightning spell so that its not too op.

Or maybe give them healing/renew skill at melee range (priestess is ranged) too while completely immune to physical damage (since its a spirit) but has 0 attack. Detonates upon death or upon reaching the boss, dealing minor damage.
