I wouldn’t really consider this a bug report so I really hope it doesn’t get taken down. (There are other posts but I sincerely have not reached a solution yet)
OK. Mr. BARON friggen’ Geddon… I’ve watched Old Gaurdian’s videos. I’ve scoured the trenches of Reddit. I’ve even tried my fellow guildies. I have beaten him atleast twice before. But this go around has been really a thorn. I am pugging because the guild i’m in isn’t very active currently. Mostly everyone I have pugged with does make a valiant effort. But i’m just a little confused on the strategy I think. I believe the error most likely is coming from me. i’ll give you a rundown.
-I am using Malfurion with Germination. As the match starts, i launch Dark iron miner right at the chest immediately (if by chance my partner doesn’t) I send my gargoyle w/ fairie dragon buff immediately to the top NE tower. I banshee any Fire ele’s or gargoyle’s that come near the base if possible. Basically what i gathered from O.G’s videos is you just have to take the top two towers, wait for Baron to get on the left side after ONE almost complete rotation and when he reaches distance between 7-10 o clock. you send a Gary after him and a catipult (i use plague farmer because my catipult sucks and my plague farmer is almost legendary). and i’m seeing NOBODY is attacking him at 7-10 on the left like old gaurdian taught us. Every now and again someone will… infact one of my closest bouts so far was right out the gate at the start. my partner dude just blitzed him right away to the right of us (1-4 o clock) and i said hell i better help him and sent my resisted gary and we almost stomped him in like 4 seconds!!
i guess my main question is… what the hell am i supposed to do about towers? because most of my pug fights are my partners screwing around with the towers and i was under the impression we only need to take the top 2? am i wrong? no towers? all towers?
