Guild chat isn’t getting any ready checks into chat for other to join in on the game.
Ready checking and being matched with myself.
When trying to start a Molten Core raid with guild members, they’re unable to see my ready check in chat. After closing the ready check window, going to guild chat screen, going back to the Molten Core raid screen to initiate a second ready check, the game auto-matches me with myself. After loading into the battle, it declares immediate defeat and I’m back trying to ready check with the guild members who still can’t see my ready check in guild chat.

Same. Does anyone know anyone at Blizzard? I need to know why the engineering team is so incompetent and why the game doesn’t have a QA team assigned to it. This is without a doubt, the worst development team I have ever encountered. Are they straight out of college with no experience? Do they develop directly on the production environment?
but we could start 3 bosses if both player just clicked on the boss to start it. but somehow now on garr nothing is working. my guild mate and me just getting the loading screen and “waiting for mate”. feels like we not allowed to defeat more then 3 bosses with same mate…hope they didn´t put such a “feature” in xD
Same here for me and my wife, we are the only 2 in our guild and even on 2 sets of devices with the same network it happens. The amount of time we have committed to leveling minis in preparation for this raid today is a waste I guess.
This has been an issue for a while. It was happening in the last siege too. It seems that a few people can manage to complete some of the raid/siege at launch, but shortly afterwards it stops working correctly.
Things I’ve noticed. When joining a raid that a guild member has readied for, during the army selection, if you select to view their army it shows their army correctly. Once you’ve selected an army and hit ready, that teammate army viewer now just reflects your own army under their username. If you watch the raid page (rather than guild chat), you can see when someone readies for a specific fight, however if you also ready for that fight, you can occasionally see (in the blurred background), that a new “ready” tag just overwrites your guildmates tag as if it didn’t even recognize that there was an available player to connect with.
It’s almost like upon selecting ready, the system loops back on itself and tries to ready you up with yourself. This may occasionally actually happen, and it results in the auto-defeat situations that have been reported.
Things I’ve done on my device to see if there is a local conflict causing this.
-Logged out of my account, and logged back in
-Closed and relaunched the app
-Cleared the cache for this app on the device
-Uninstalled and reinstalled the entire game
-Logged out and logged in as a “guest”, completing the new player sequence again, then logging back into my account.
-Connected from both my home WiFi, my work WiFi, and from my mobile network
It doesn’t appear that anything done locally seems to have an effect on this particular bug.
