I am having this problem as well started on the 25th when I was at the shore. I have an iphone. Not certain of model but might be a small 14 model. Tried turning my phone off and on again multiple times. Will I lose my progress if I uninstall and redownload?
You will not lose progress if it is linked to you battle.net, but if you started on a guest account you will lose all progress. It is recommended to wait on update in that case.

I had the same issue on iPhone 11. I had to fully delete the game, reinstall, then re-download the latest 1.24G of new content. It worked.
Donāt know why Blizzard wonāt just tell people to do this on the launch screen, instead of just sending them to the forum

Yeah, I donāt know for sure if my account is linked to Battle.net. So I donāt want to run the risk of reinstalling and losing all my progress.
Given the response time on this bug that affects so many users, I canāt imagine how long it would take to get my account restored if I lost progress with a reinstall.

Todays update did not correct the issue. Game is still stuck in login loop.
Still same issues going on a full week with login failure loop. This is getting out of control. They better be giving monthly refunds or significant rewards in game for impacted customers. I get it, a day or so of issues is acceptable if itās a rarity, but a full week and still unresolved even with the new update with no resolution is beyond unacceptable. The amount of revenue theyāre losing daily canāt be sitting well with their leadership. I bet those board meetings are going real well. CFO - āWeāre paying you how much IT depāt and you canāt fix a login failure? What are we paying you for exactly?ā

Todays update fixed my issue on android. I was on a GUEST ACCOUNT.
Same here. Guest account lost cause of no help in time.
After restart nothing left, no character, no paid in-game-contents.
