The summons are way to crazy I am having like 50+ mages pop up at once and can’t even get him close to down. Closest I got was 2 bars left. Seems a little impossible no? My army is level 29
Edit: After about 100 tries with 15 differnt combinations I finally passed it with this just barely. I got so close one time literally ran the clock out with barely viable health but I finally managed to get it

Yes it is impossible to beat the level. I tried so far 60 times with all different heroes, and different strategies. I manage to drop boss level to 1 bar but that last wave is unstoppable. They always screw the update.
I mean if this is normal mode wtf does heroic or mythic look like? Did this even get play tested? This is pathetic. I have tried so many strategies- my armies are pretty high up there- no average player is going to be able to do this at all.
Try with some healers. I tried maiev but he was useless. Now i am using tirion fordring because he is an extra healer. And not very expensive.
I always have 1 or 2 tanks.
I mostly use shaman with earthen shield trait.
Core hounds because they are nice dps and can only die when killed both. They many times riveve eachother.
Then the orge mage for huge ranged aoe damage.
Dwarf hunter with a bear tank is good because when the dwarf gets killed the beat continue his fight.
For the first fight i used plague farmer because its cheap and good aoe poison.
Druid of the claw is also a favorite because its heal and he is cheap. And also continue as a tank.
Always try to send in a tank. Dwarf hunter + shaman. Or core counds with shaman.
And yes you have to be lucky because their stitches often pulls the healer and kills it.
It was really difficult on release - and something has been changed it seems 
Keep in mind that to keep the average player available for events like this your level doesnt really do much. So being average level 24 should be the same as 29 - at least relative to the boss difficulty. Keep that in mind when making the builds 
Its not much the difficulty. Its the cheating. Is the enemy can spawn on the same rate as the players it should be fine. My biggest issue is banshee queen stealing my minions.
I wish i could talk to a dev and ask whats in their mind. But they just ignore me. That makes me even more furious.
Another sadly designed Event. I can’t even beat the first normal mission. Can’t imagine how overtuned heroic or even mythic have to be. I hope they fix it before it ends so majority of the players can have some fun this event.
They expect everyone has all nice traits. Some are really needed.
Its ridiculous that the enemy can spam infinite minions.
It’s not that hard when you take them right minis and leader.

Lvl 3 I don’t know exactly what I had, but it was also with Arthas.
This is with Rend when you have completed the challenge with Athas. It’s a bit easier with that.

I didn’t do the 3 lvl with Rend because I already had it. hope you get on with it. it’s not difficult. Now it has been made even easier today.

Its not hard. I kept a base in hc saron and the game could not win. But the game cheated on infinite minions so i lost because timer ran out.
Its clear that they design everything in this game around their whales who paid to unlock everything. There is no way a FTP player could complete these missions, even on the easiest difficulty, unless they’ve been playing since close to launch.
Still same issues a over excessive amount of mobs he summoned not once but twice on me.
A challenge is good, but agreed, this is not close to fun. Steam rolled and over run no matter what I try.
Completely agree with you. Or use Flamewaker and Witch Doctor for the first mission. They are walkovers.
The game does not cheat. That is like saying that Geddon cheats in Molten Core by summoning fire elementals. Thats part of the design and the challenge. The mythics are rough tho - which is nice.
I havent spend anything on this game and I believe I am way ahead. Blizzard doesnt treat anyone better than other in such an event as this. Its average level anyway.
Think some players on this forum has to consider if it is rather the lack of skill and patience - it might not always be the game.

The game is not directed by the whales or desinet. That’s Rubish and it’s in every mobile game so you can buy something, but you don’t have to.
and it’s not like that here in WCR at least when you’re an F2P player "You can also achieve everything, it’s a bit longer sometimes.
the only advantage here in WCR is if you buy something, that you have, for example, up the mini faster or faster on epic, etc. but you have no disadvantages at all as an F2P player. you can achieve everything as well as one who pays. bring me a game where this is so on the phone.
I have a lot of people in the guild who are F2P players and they can do it.
They have Onyxia down, they have Raganaros down and all the victory. You have to make some effort and not always give up right away.
I also had to try it out, it didn’t work out for me the first time.
I don’t know what some people expect from us. Do you want a game where it’s challenging? Or do you want a game where even 5 year olds can play?
If it’s the 2nd, better play Mario Cart because you don’t have to make an effort with your head.
I am satisfied from my side and I also know that my guildmates are. I think it’s one of the best events in a long time.

They down-tuned it recently and I was finally able to get all three normal wings down, but still.
Blizzard realizes this is a phone game right? Phone games are for quick bites of fun while you’re sitting in the bathroom between meetings, not sweating like a CoD pro

Mythic will be a challenge for toiletgamers or casuals. I think that is reasonable. Mythic is also not needed at all for getting all rewards.
Must be fair that those of us who have no life and commits way more time to this also gets to complete some challenges that toiletplayers or casuals wont.
Its not a punishment - it fair that some people have more important stuff to do, than playing a mobile game with fantasy figures 
I have played this game since it’s release, haven’t missed a single day, completed every mission and surge. These missions are stupid ridiculous.
It’s blizzard chucks like you who ruin the game by continuing to give blizzard money for the crap they have been releasing.
And calling other players names to help you feel better about being a wallet warrior is pathetic.
I absolutely annihilated him first try using arthas, plague farmer, priestess, and necromancer as my main group up the left side.
I also have crash pilot, and arcane blast spells to help deal with the waves that he summons.
I just finished heroics lastnight, the cards i listed above is my main group ive been using and just tweaking them for the different wings of the event.
I unlocked every reward you can get from the event in about 2 hours, i also put abomination in the group whenever i can just so i get the “heal abomination mission” done.
