How do i request a refund in this game?

I cant find an actual support ticket syatem in this game…is there an in game option to talk to someone? Looking at all these threads i see no deva ever help anyone here… mot even lip service… just lurking and afraid to respond… or maybe too busy counting all the stolen money from the warcraft fan base to try to help us.

Well i made a thread a couple weeks ago about the negative gold i saw. No response obviously… i earned my way out of the negative after a week… but now im further into the game and been stuck on missions and its now painfully clear that gold is almost impossible to get without paying. The fact that you get zero hold from.pvp or quests or dungeons makes it painfully obvious that your intentions are just to force sales for pathetic deals on fake currency.

Ive been waiting for this game to come out for almost 2 years… its finally here… ive had it 3 weeks or a month… i want my money back… i wish this game was never released…

so sick of being disappointed with what was the best gaming franchise ever… ill go back to my laptop and play wc3 for free and actually be able to play a competitive game that puts the player before the dollar

Even that in-game ticket system fails sometimes, works or not, better to submit one on PC using the webform. No, there’s no option to talk to anyone in-game.

All the current players had been waiting for 2 years, not just you. You can submit a refund request through Google, but not through Blizzard. Every transaction is going through Google and I personally think that is stupid… Lots of people reported failures with purchases, you just need to scroll through the forums. Letting Google deal with the transactions leads to many people being frustrated when they request a refund, end up in negative gold or they won’t get items that was promised in bundles/whatevers → as a result both company just points fingers to the other to ask help from them; Blizzard tells you to contact Google, Google tells you to contact the Blizzard Devs… and nothing is going to be solved, they want to wash their hands.
Requesting a refund resulted me never being able to buy the Booster again, so do so at your own risk with refunds. As much I’m also frustrated, I’ll still try to wait it out for a bit longer as the game is still in its infant state.

Also: got a response from a GM (and its also being shown in the “Contact Support” page that they have increased incoming tickets → Game just launched, they are after Blizzcon
New players, like you, most likely haven’t searched the forums for similar issues like yours and just spam them with tickets. Believe it or not, there was and is an unofficial Discord server where a couple of Devs are present, bugs are being reported there and if Blues can answer, they will, they pass the bugs to the teams responsible for such bugs (like if there’s an audio issues with the game it’s being passed on to them) - different teams work on different issues, it’s most likely the same with transactions, too.

Would be seen as a dupliate thread, but they will still read it, even if they don’t respond to it, and they will work on it.

You aren’t actually forced to buy/pay for anything, purchases are optional, not mandatory. You can pretty much advance in the game as a F2P player, but obviously much slower. Yes, gold income is scarce, it’s a pain farming it, it’s really slow to advance, and you only get stuck until you level up your troops and put a strategically (for the right map) good team together.
I was stuck in Heroic Ashenvale, on Tideress, until I levelled up some of the minions that were right for the “job”.

Sorry for the Wall-of-Text. Not trying to defend Blizzard as I’m also angry with them and I also think that real-money purchase issues should be fixed with priority but it’s not OUR call, they will fix when they can. They are also human, they are also working, they can’t answer ALL the tickets we send them in one day.
All we can do is do what they ask of us: Be patient.

Hop on the Discord server and you might see things a bit differently, there are also people more active there than here on the forums who could answer some questions for you quicker. You can also get some good tips on how to handle some missions where you get stuck (if you still wish to continue the game).

Honestly i wouldn’t do the refund. I was told to do the refund also but since nobody is really checking it you will negative in coins or what not until the fix the issue. So you can do the refund but if you got coins they take the coins you never got also.

Yes, had I known I’d end up in negative currency as I did when requesting the Booster refund, and also known that I couldn’t buy it again, I wouldn’t have done it. I think I was in -2000, guess it took about 3-4 weeks of Surge to get back to 0, really slowed down my progress.
There are also issues when you buy anything from the shop, it crashes, resulting in you not getting anything from what you bought, but some also get charged twice, they request the refund, and also end up in negative, as you have said, Grizzly.

Through Google play help and support. I spent like 150$. They ended up putting me in the negative gold by -5000 for 1 refund that I NEVER received the gold and exp from. So I had to quit the game and try to refund everything but Google denied any other refund. So I’m out about 140$ from this bugged blizzard game. My fault for trusting them, no more

Its the devs own fault that the gold issue is being spammed in new topics here… if the devs took a single second to respond to one of them or better yet create a dev thread saying it is being worked on and have all people with the issue respond with their info then there would not be 800 threads saying negative gold… the fact thay the blizzard devs are juat creeping around here lurking and pretending thwy arent here is extremely frustrating and pathetic… just amke a damn thread and take some accountability and give a thread of assurance that the issues are at least being worked on…

Last night I answered in another post about what might be the case regarding the negative gold after a refund:

I’m starting to strongly lean towards this being the case… In (mostly) every scenario that’s posted throughout the forums every transaction contains XP tomes that you must distribute to at least 3 minies and I think even if you won’t see the pop-ups because of the app crashing I’d bet that the game auto-distributes the XP to random minies, making you to believe that you didn’t get jack for your money, and since you, we, everyone who’s been affected asked for a refund sees a negative currency because the game takes away the “appropriate” amount of gold worth for the distributed XP.

For me, this would be the only “logical” explanation, however unfair it is…
But the result is still infuriating because a bugfest causes the whole problem and it still isn’t fixed since Soft Launch…
