I consider the drop rates of Headless Horseman a real fraud. Just hear me out:
I am a F2P player, yet a very dedicated one. I’ve completed all of the quests of the event and my goal was to get an epic Headless Horseman with all talents because who knows, maybe it will become useful and I don’t want to wait another year to finally upgrade it.
Now picture this: today is the last day, I finally got the quest to log in for 20 days completed. Now I only need the Headless Horseman to appear on the greed 2 times, and the talent afterwards. I have 64 red buttons remaining and 8k gold. Knowing that, what do you feel should be the chances of me getting what I am looking for? I’d say, with SUCH numbers - 100%.
However, I only got 1 horseman after 20 buttons, and then I’ve spent another 41 (!) until I saw it again. Not to mention that of course I did buy something else when using the buttons, so in total my greed was updated more than 41 time.
So here I am, wasted 61 button in total to see him appear on the greed TWICE. And of course I was not lucky to get the talent with the remaining 3 buttons that I had.
Oh yeah, and don’t forget that there is no way to get the red buttons or the remaining talent even with the real money.
Blizzard, do you really think that it is alright? You introduce a specific mini, which is only available for a week, and yet the drop rate of that mini are… I can’t even find a word for it. I don’t want to hear about me being unlucky.
64 red buttons. 64 !!! It’s 3 months of grinding them basically.
I demand Justice. Deduct 250 gold from my account if you will, but grant me that final talent at least.
