App trying to log into Korean battle net instead of US server

I am in Australia and I have been playing the game for quite a while now with no problems.

But after the 2.0 update, the app constantly asks me to log in when opening it up, it doesn’t remember the account when you close it down.

This morning it started giving me a new problem in that it tries logging in to the Korean battle net server to authorise my account and the problem is that my account is based in the US because that is where Australian users created accounts.

And there is no way to change which Battle.net server the APP is trying to log in to.

It asks me to log in to kr_account_battle_net (Changed to not make it a link.)

Annoying as all hell because I will have lost all my progress due to this bug.

Using it on my Ipad Pro 12.9" with iOS 17.0.3 which is the latest iOS.

That doesnot mean you are logging into korean battle net portal change your region settings

There is no way to change the region settings without logging in to the app.

And sorry to burst your bubble but that KR part of the url means it is trying to log into the Korean server for Battle net.

I think I might have had the same issue. I’m NZ but for some reason a purchase I made is in the Asia region despite everything else on my account being in America.

Definitely going through the same issue on my side. Any chance you found a solution or communicated with someone at BNet to get some answers?

Some people say to open a support page and login on that webpage and just refresh your other tabs.
if F5 (refresh) doesn’t work… Try clicking on the login button at the top of the page where u were login into your account.

Oh more info on the problem. So I’m in Australia too and can’t link my account coz it has put me in the wrong region. While it doesn’t seem to even tell you which region it has (incorrectly) put you in, it also takes me to “kr.” for create an account.

Which means it’s incorrectly trying to put Australians into a KR or Asia region, instead of Americas.

I’m a bit shocked that this sort of thing can happen, and go unnoticed for so long - especially with so many support requests asking to fix it.

It honestly is looking like Blizzard exceptionally do not care at all about us.

I was going to start buying things for Rumble but I guess not, given they’re literally not making their game playable for me (and many others).
