20000 gold? Dubious tech support gift

Today I had a message from tech support “We’re sorry this bug is causing you problems! The Warcraft Rumble support team has sent you a gift for your trouble!” They described that I would receive 20000 (after the gold icon), so I assumed I would receive gold, but I didn’t. Too bad you can’t attach a screenshot.

I also have the same problem. I clicked on redeem but received nothing and the game started again as so often. There you look forward to the generous compensation and then this happens :face_with_diagonal_mouth:

For me the same, but I received event tickets. I think it only showed the wrong currency.

Yep - same here. I had reported an issue with not receiving items purchased from the GRID although the coins were taken (happened twice). I got the notification advising 20000 gold - which seemed pretty generous! But in fact it was 20000 Ysera tickets that I received.
I presume that they didn’t actually read the report I submitted, and just tagged it against issues from buying the Ysera Bundle in the shop.
I’d rather have my 180 coins back rather than the event tickets which will convert to 1000 arclight energy at the end of the event.

After I logged in, I’ve got an 20.000 gold window, but when I clicked on Claim button, the window just faded and I’ve received nothing.

Same for me, clearly showed gold but i noticed i actually got the years event tickets. Makes sense since that’s what i complained about. I had bought the $4.99 ysera bundle mostly for the tickets and the tickets didn’t come through so this makes sense to me just a simple currency typo getting us overly excited. I’m still gonna send my screenshot of it to my brother to make him jealous :wink:

Same , and I send ticket but after the guild told me it an event tickets not a gold .

Same happned here. I think you have to send the gold aswell, or fire the worker who did attach the icon with gold on it…
