If nothing new was being added to the game and only graphics upgrade is being made. then player base has no reason to buy this game. nor should it take as long as it does be put out sold.
what is now this project must be about 2 years old. at least thats a-lot of time to update a games graphics and new visuals… no their planning more then just this you are a fool if think other wise.
so safely assume their be new heros and new creeps or better yet new units and drastic unit changes. or no one gonna spend that much money just for a reskin and colorful grafics with no ajustiment to the code. wouldn’t take 2 years to finish not for big game like company like blizzard. or Activision’s B****H
Depends on how much of the graphics are remastered and to what level and how much there is graphics to improve. A small team with a big game, it can easily take very long just for the graphics. Just look at any animated movie: that’s basically just CG graphics, and they can take up to several years to make. Why do you think all modern big gaming companies have whole departments just for the art? It didn’t take that long to make some pixel art like in the 80’s, but with modern 3D models, lighting, shadows and textures, it really takes a heck load of time. That’s why they outsourced much of the graphics in Reforged in the first place. And top of that, Reforged, for example, is a lot more than just graphics.
