Is yggdrasil the world tree, why they are “tweaking” the story a little, cuz when that tree dies that’s when the world dies or so it was written in the hand book, also other publications i believe.(problem being sylvanis, trashed the tree)
Do you guys think that’s why the feel the need to change the story? yggdrasil? maybe to dull its importance… or something… since sylvanis just set it on fire and nothing happened?
I for one don’t want them to change the story one bit, wow’s story is crap, why do they have to go back and ruin the good warcraft story?
Sylvanas set an entirely different World Tree on fire. She set Teldrassil, which was planted and grown after Warcraft 3. Nordrassil is still there and has started to recover from Archimonde’s death, but that’s at Hyjal. WoW lore will not affect Nordrassil in any way or its importance, because that lore hasn’t changed at all from Warcraft 3.

Yggdrasil is the tree from norse mythology which the trees in warcraft are based off of.
The only world tree we see in warcraft 3 is Nordrassil.
Sylvanas burnt a different tree called Teldrassil, which afaik wasn’t even planted yet during the third war which is when warcraft 3 takes place.
Anyway, like some other person said, you clearly know very little about warcraft’s story by looking at your post.
