I won a 3v3 RT as my first placement match. After the game I received the message “Failed to retrieve data”. My placement win did not count and I cannot find the win on my play history.

It looks like Battle.net try’s to receive the results from the game after all players have left
with a limited time to do so. If the other play does not leave in that short time the results are not retrieved. Please fix this bug as its very annoying to play a game and it does not count. My buddy is having the same problem.

Same here. 1 win out of 10 is counted. Unable to load data message. You ok there?

I played 5 games of 2v2 AT other day and none of them counted.

If this is true then you could purposively stay a bit in game after you lose to avoid MMR drop. I tried that but got a loss recorded. However, there is definitely a synch issue. Lots of times the MMR screen post game is completely messed up not showing MMR gain or loss. I got wins counted as losses against me or not showing up in my match history. In matchmaking screen I got more wins recorded as in match history and did not get the MMR for the difference. Played only 4v4s.
Don’t think it matters, but I play on Mac Catalina. EU realm.
