Blizzard’s silent because they don’t give a damn about Reforged beyond trying to recoup their losses and then nickel-and-diming the poor saps who fall into the trap for years after that.

Its pretty simple.
They make a statement but than let lawyers check it to be sure.
Or at least the PR department.

Every post they show us is a huge backlash at best for them atm.

  1. It’s a problem at the cultural level. It’s not exactly the same across all the franchises, but communication is poor systemically.

The fund for the internet bill went to JAB’s 2nd yacht.

The devs are all out celebrating the “great release” of WC3R.

Windows has gotten worse and worse after Windows 7.

They moved on to the next cash cow, which is Diablo: Immortal.

Because they saw the reaction of the people after the first patch. “What? Only these things are in this patch? WTF, where are ladders, new UI, etc?!”. People went crazy. I think they are trying to do a bigger patch now and they don’t announce any dates for it because they are not sure when it will be done.

They got payers money and moved on to earn more in mobile market (diablo immortal).

The most probable : their strategy is to announce big patches and they don’t want to communicate on each issue. So they wait to have some items to show together.

This, or they all passed out of shame.

2.They are planning major roadmap how to relaunch Reforged in major way and save their faces as the developer they once were and thats why they are saving everything for 1 major announcement.

as much as I wish it was the latter, the chances of them doing “Final Fantasy XIV: Ream Reborn” kind of treatment for Reforged is as slim as WC IV or Half-Life 3 ever happening.

I sadly think that at this point they just dont plan to do much anymore about this whole mess. At this point Reforged can be no longer saved with minor patches, so its either go big or go home.
