Why remove Gnoll reload animation?

Why did they change the hilarious Gnoll reload animation?

The Gnoll archer used to reload it’s bow by fetching an arrow from the quiver with the mouth like a dog. it was hilarious to watch and added a lot of personality.

I guess we are not supposed to have fun and good things.

When did they remove this? With reforged or a recent update?

Wasn’t removed from the SD version of the model i think. the model makers just didn’t bother doing a faithful remaster at all.

So don’t expect the HD models to have any unique quirk carried over.

Grommash Hellscream has also got a lot stronger grip, because he is swinging Gorehowl with only one hand now.

not to mention most models have only one attack animation with the others just an actual copy of “attack 1” and then some cinematic animations are literally just “stand 1”

They were limited on original animations when it comes to this, because of visual cross-compatibility. the animations needed to be the same exact frame as the original ones.

The problem with this is, they didn’t bother just copying the animations or atleast how they were done from the original models because they do have enough verity, and more clarity between its different animation forms.

A simple example is the footman, you can far more clearly identify a classic Footman in defend or regular form, but in RF HD, the footman use the same attack animation verity in Defend form as they do in regular form. and their stand ready animation in defend form is literally identical to the regular forms stand ready animation.

This was not the case in classic SD. and in there the footman also used a singular steady attack animation while in defend form, an animation which is not used in regular form so all the visual Q’s were nicely done.
