Why has no one made a "War of the Ancients" Campaign based on the books or lore?

Unless I just can’t find it. Kind of wanted to play through all the main story points of Warcraft history in chronological order.

I found one, though this was an abandoned project made in 2014 with no actual map downloads or anything.

Would love if it was revived or if someone like the people behind the WC2 project that’s been floating around made something set in this time period.

The book is very Mary Sue.
The original war would be more interesting.

I’d play one custom campaign if it doesn’t have such things like Rhonin or Dranosh

There is one but it touches only briefly the War of the ancients. I think you play 3 chapters that happen in the War of the ancients but rest is part of another story. It is the Arthas Campaign Orc

I thought about to create War of the Ancients campaign, but these reforged patches… I am not able to create campaigns with the new editor. Maybe after a year.

As a campaign maker specializing on books I can say it’s an extreme undertaking. It would require at least 20 chapters. Putting enough time and quality in it, a single person might need 4 or more years to finish it.
