Go to “Play Offline” and then select Custom Games. Create a lobby and choose your map.

LAN functionality has been redundant for years. If it appears in a game at all these days it’s considered a miracle. Don’t hold your breath for it in Diablo 4.

Of course I wasn’t serious. I’ll buy Diablo 4 when it has LAN (which is NEVER). Same goes with Call of Duty and so on. You know, I can vote with my wallet. No LAN = No buy.
Starcraft Remastered works. Warcraft 3 reforged: nope.

Which is a real shame, because I still play games over LAN.
Maybe it’s because I’m old enough to have had LAN parties, and I keep them alive…
