Just wanted to know couldnt find any info on this online.
I know the smallest maps and biggest maps have a size like 32x32 but what map has least space (moveable/buildable) for Frozen Throne and for Reign of Chaos?

No one knows. MYYYYYYYYYYY FRIENDD
are you talking about official ladder maps? custom maps can be any size you want
most people know echo isle is the smallest, its not difficult to tell
largest map depends on how many players you want, I think divide & conquer allows 8v8 if I remember correctly
all you have to do is go to the maps folder, it automatically organizes them by # of players allowed, pretty simple to figure out if you actually play the game
I know the player count and map size constraints Im just asking for
“Least Playable Map Size”
Where it theoretically has small constraints like 32x32 but with cliffs and other objects taking up space.
So im asking for least space playable not smallest size.
theoretically, hmm? why dont you just open the map editor and see for yourself? I dont think anybody has actually made any maps of the size you are theorizing, because like what would be the point?
Unplayable? constrained with minimum space? so like a sheep trapped in a box surrounded by rocks? I mean sure, pretty much anything can probably be possible in the world editor
I found this small map with a quick search on google:
But thats not really playable.
I tried it.
The condition is that the map has to be functional.
weird lol… even though the map has 4 spawn points the creator apparently didnt allow another player, I dont know why the creator made it unplayable like that, but its very easy to open up the world editor and fix the map to make it work
the first image is of the map I found on google after I edited it, the others pics are a map i quickly made from scratch. like I said before, you can find a lot more of your questions by opening the world editor and playing around with the map editor for yourself (its a good way to learn more about the game and custom maps).
I have other maps I could show you, but I wish you had the full game instead of just ptr
First of all how did you post an image in this forum without a link?
Plus how is PTR not the full game? Its just slight online limitations…
such as the ability to easily play with others?
I offered to play co-op campaign with you but Im not about to download ptr just for one player, especially since my clans and friends list wont be accessible… once 1.31 releases will be getting a lot of new features and ptr will be obsolete
It would be a lot easier if you had the full game so you could just msg me via the bnet friends list, instead of having to first msg me here and then forcing me to switch to an unpopulated server
Not going to lie I really dont understand what servers and everything is all about.
But I guess it makes sense that PTR isnt the full game because its free.
Yh by patch 1.31 or 1.31a or 1.31b ill get it.
do you ever plan on playing online with other people? if not then why spend so much time posting questions here? if you do plan on playing online, then what are you waiting for?
I’m pretty sure I actually explained this all to you before, in a different thread. Back when I originally asked you to play co-op like 2 weeks ago
PTR = Public Test Realm
PTR is only meant to be used briefly to test bugs and iron out patches before they go with a full release. It is not a populated server because theres nobody on it playing any games. It is not meant to give you access to the game for free. I dont even understand how you are able to play PTR when you do not own TFT.
Like say you downloaded a free version of WoW but then logged into see nobody else on your server to play with. Thats what you are doing by logging into TFT on the PTR
Blizzard PTR is not currently active —> Blizzard Support - World of Warcraft Public Test Realm
The Public Test Realm/Region (PTR) is a special service you can use to test patches before we release them to the public. When we start a PTR test, we’ll announce it on the game’s website. PTR forums are only available when the PTR is running.
