Guys. What is going on over there? Is there a way to unpurchase my game? I still have my CD and just want to play WC3 on my Mac!!! CMON!
The only fix available is to buy a windows laptop/PC
Will we need to start a class action lawsuit to get a product rolled back to a version where it was usable upon launch?
It’s obvious that regardless of any attempted suits (lol), that it cannot be rolled back, or else Bliz would have did it shortly after.
It’s quite clear that what ever was in the patch must remain regardless of what it broke, and then afterwards fix the broke parts. Which is waht Bliz said theynare doing, hence go crazy with a suit and see how far that gets.
What does that mean? Upon launch? As in, the state it was in when WC3R was launched? You may not have been around that far back. You don’t want it back in that state, guaranteed.
I bought the CD from Best Buy when I was like 10 in 2002, have hundreds if not thousands of hours in the game. I would take the first version they released with BNET custom game functionality. Everything since reforged has been a disservice to the players.
That’s not going to happen, so requesting it isn’t realistic.
Everything? Everything has been? That fact that the game has worked fairly well for the vast majority is a disservice? People are going to see what they want to see, I guess.
same here. I cannot play War3 on my Mac since this August!!!
Yes, you can request a refund via support
you’re preaching to the choir, no one would be here if they weren’t fans of the game lol
There is a 0% chance any such lausuit would succeed. And are you prepared to pony up the cash for the lawyers needed even if it were probable?
The fact is, you can still play the game, you’ll just need to use a different device or virtualization to do so. I’m not saying this to defend them, just pointing out facts.
But regardless, let us wait til the 13(?)th when the Warcraft Direct happens, as there might possibly be an explanation when that time comes based on certain recent events.
People can request, yes. However there have been a couple reports of both granting and denying them.
If not meeting the return criteria, it appears that its not an official policy change to grant all refunds. Seems to be on a case-by-case basis that is weighted by whether or not exceptions are warranted.
If meeting the return criteria, it is 100% refundable.
seems to be a good question? getting approval to purchase Activision/Blizzard - should have had some protection? (probably not).
Bro…why are you defending Blizzard…they keep breaking a game that we all want to play…just chill brother
Like those who seem to create things where they don’t exist, you’ve spun my speaking realistically into “defending”.
As for the post replied to 1) Stating that reverting to one of the earliest versions of the game, especially pre-Reforged, isn’t going to happen, that isn’t defending Bliz, it’s not defending anything except maybe reality. 2) Countering a claim that unilaterally everything has been a disservice isn’t defending Bliz.
At no time did I ever judge the situation as right, or give an opinion about how it’s being handled properly, or claim anything about it being correct. You won’t find a single post of mine where I do any of those things. In other words, there’s been no defending.
When it comes to Reforged and the history it’s had, I’ve never defended it. So please avoid fabricating things out of frustration.
