Just came home from work, and was going to play WC3, but this error shows up every time I try to start WC3. I played WC3 earlier today before work. How do I fix this sh1t? I’ve restarted computer and battle.net app, and even deleted the battle.net tools folder. None of the options in different forums I google works…

I’ve just reinstalled everything possible, still BLZBNTBTS0000005D problem. Do we really have to wait for Reforged to play?

I, as are at least 5 other people on my discord are having this problem. According to the previous comment, it may be to do with reforged. Is this true?
I went to the Blizzard help page link from the WCIII launcher and it gave me steps to delete the battle.net folder. Is this the way to fix this? It seems very outdated. I think other people have tried It and it is still not working. Unable to access Warcraft 3 COMPLETELY.

A possible way of getting round this problem if you want to use Battle Net, according to someone on my discord, is to actually go into the folder for Battle net. Apparently, going through the folder here you can access it without the need of the launcher.

I have the same problem that I can’t run w3. I uninstalled everything and reinstalled so the same error shows up.
Thanks to the help of my discord friend, Son Guhun. He suggested I go into the folder for the file location and click on the x86 folder and click on the WC3 there. Make that a shortcut and you wont have to keep going into it.

Hmm. I tried to go into the Battle Net folder, but all there is are .dll files and the launcher. WC3 is not located in this folder.

I have never played a video game in my entire life with this many issues. Even during betas, there has never been as much neglect and pure just straight trash Blizz has ever allowed to be released under their umbrella.
AT being broken and not addressed or fixed for over a year and a half, is wrong. They haven’t even given us an explanation. Know why? The pride is gone at this company, they don’t care.
Think if we were a priority and playing the game meant more to the company than just numbers we would be going through launcher problems like this? Or having FPS problems? Or players not being able to alt tab is fun?
Cmon blizz, even at my job, if i write a mediocre report, or release something half-decent or cut corners, I could get fired or piss many people off. I don’t see why you don’t hold yourself to even a minimal standard anymore. Start caring about your game or just close the doors until the reforged you promised was going to be awesome is out.
One year of silence and a piece of trash is an insult to the masterpiece that RPardo, TCadwell and others worked so hard to polish 15 years ago.
Man this is so insulting lol and i’m honestly not even that upset…I just think this game team doesn’t care and and we’re letting it go as if it’s acceptable… it isn’t.
pete stillwell’s team has broken this game more times than it was ever broken 15 years ago. The keeper trash, the current state of the game for humans, don’t even get me started on undead.
How about fix issues that really need fixing like re-tuning far sight for far seer for example? Ah im off topic now. /rant over
