WCIII Reforged Graphics Mod: Quenching

It’s quiet complicated so to say, the reason is not only about dnc light system, there are more on that. But its solveable I think.
Another thing is if you make light rotate every second, its gonna drop FPS pretty bad and affect bloom in an undesireable way. I’m still thinking about a solution.

Hi i have a problem applying the Standard Mode of the Mod which gives me the following error:

Interesting to hear your thoughts on reforged with your insight.

I am disappointed over how little there has been done to the level design.
Looking at this trailer the level design is definitely missing.

And frightening to hear how small an effort Blizzard have done on this.
Honestly expected more. Sad this project didnt get more funding and resources working on it.

Thank you very much it worked.

I have similar issues. What worked for me was to utilize the zipped setting.exe that came within the mod installation.

(it was pain since I need to do the settings adjustment in parallels since I am on Mac, but once achieved the mod works wonders)

Whoa Jixed, you are way more honest and open than I expected (modders don’t usually talk about their wizardries), and even more honest and open than others developers around. Keep the hard work buddy, you may help blizzard to reduce the W3R refunds :slight_smile:

I think the best I can do is bring blizcon kind of feeling back to our game. But without accessing more encoded files, seriously no matter what I do, disconnection will happen.
But who knows, maybe we could find some new ways.

What kind of settings do you use for the best visual effects on light and shadows?

SUGGESTION to implement something different in Quenching-Warcraft3 Reforged Mod:

You could make a patch where you add in the game options the possibility to increase the variation of Zoom “in” or Zoom “out” (scroll mouse) to farther or even much closer, as if it were a gradation of how far or close we could apply the Standard Zoom of the game, perhaps creating the options Minimum zoom, (inserting a value) and Maximum zoom (inserting a value), each user could choose the preference. At least available in singleplayer matches. There are many people who play alone (maps custom) and wish to artificially enlarge the map to be much larger than 480x480. Using in “ALL OBJ: MOD TINY”, as an example. For us they are even more distant … Even though Reforged has increased the default Zoom approach…
it would be a great pleasure to increase this standard variation of Zoom even more on the models, after all, we still intend to see the beautiful graphics of the models much closer.

I believe that your modification team will be able to create this feature.

I’d like to, we are fighting dissconnetion for those features. Any features which requires a timer will crash the multiplayer game unless both of them have this mod. It’s pretty hard to work with shackles ZZZ. But its a good direction to work with.

How do you make the icons bigger for the buildings so i can see what I’m trying to make?

Wow! Just testing the new UI this weekend, the Quenching UI is definitely my favorit and what this game needed, instead of the old classic witch fills half the screen.
It is a much needed face lift to the game. :slight_smile:

Is it possible to do cut Szenes improvement? Then all the news sites world wide would probably feature this since it has UI and Cut Szenes
