This might sound weird but wc3 keeps installing. I don’t want to play it anymore since I finished the campaign and prefer sc2 pvp over wc3. This said, I tried uninstalling the game and it worked but if I restart my pc/ close it and open bnet it starts to download without me pressing the “install” button. How can I resolve?
I think you need to disable automatic updates. In Blizzard app go to > battle.net logo in the top left > settings > downloads > automatic updates > never automatically apply updates and you should be good to go, the game will no longer automatically download unless you click Update or Install, and only then it will.

You may also wish to ensure the game is not backed up for example if you use a cloud backup service. Apple time machine or other services make sure the game isn’t being restored by them.
