Im writing from wc3 forums app for Android. Whats happening?
Wait, there’s a separate app for that?
That’s… ugh. I suppose it doesn’t take away from any actual dev time since those people don’t have anything to do with the game department.
Yep, forum suggested me to install “Warcraft 3: Reforged Forums” app. Installation Windows appeared and i pressed install. Something is coming.
That’s a feature of Discourse, the 3rd party supplier of Bliz’s forums.
The first time visiting a particular game forum (not just WC3R), it will ask if you want to install the app/plugin. There’s one for the desktop version too.
Once in a while, a hidden timer expires and it will ask again.
On Chrome at least, there’s a button to install it at any time:

Not only that, it doesn’t take away from Bliz at all. It’s developed by Discourse themselves.

a chrome app, yeah. If you’re using a non-chromium browser, you won’t see that.
I hate Chrome with a passion and still use Firefox.
I’m often guest at this forum, but havent visited it last month. So , i guess it appered sometime ago.
