just like anywhere else in battle.net, you need their entire battle tag, with the #number after the name.

Names are different, here on forum I am Cat and during War3 game I have another name.
Also what is bothering, once I played with a lot of Cat named players, there were 3 in game… very bad decision from blizzard but that’s it. The number beyond names (which are not displayed (cat#11934) make difference, hope they cannot be the same.
