Was LAN and off-line added back to the game?

Was LAN and off-line added back to the game?

Also, if I don’t have reforge will the current patch break the old game by removing LAN and off-line?

Was never not in Reforged. You fell for the flood of people spreading misinformation.

I don’t get your question entirely. The current patch brings you to Reforged and you can play it for free assuming you have a legal copy with a legal key

There are many people who have buggy that. Or that the game goes Online when you try to play Lan.

I just launched the game. It auto updated as you said. Now there is no LAN option. Custom game presents me with options to join custom games on battle net. I want to play a private Local Area Network game with another person who has the game, who is physically 4 feet away from me. I don’t want the stats from my private LAN game being collected on battle net.

In the bottom right, click the Menu button. In it, there should be a “Logout” button. Click it and return to the main screen. Over on the left, the “Custom Games” button should change to “Local Area Network”.

Thank you. Now I’m stuck needing to install “Apple” networking software on Windows. No way man. I don’t buy Apple products. I don’t use Apple products. I don’t like Apple products. I don’t need Apple products. Thus, I don’t install Apple products. TCP/IP or NBT… and I don’t need IPv6 for my private home network.

What was the last patch before reforged. I’ll have to fully uninstall everything and revert to pre-reforge just to make my kid happy on his birthday.

I love that there are people who discuss if the new menu is bad.
You need a guide to enter Lan mode.

Bonjour is a protocol for automatically connecting devices on a network with little to no effort so that there’s no manual configuration. If you don’t want to use computer code just because of a label, that’s your prerogative.

The previous version before Reforged was 1.31, the PTR. It’s still downloadable from Bliz’s download site. Just look for the one named “Public Test Realm”. The thing to keep in mind is that this may not be available forever as the PTR can be updated to Reforged to test new features.

Thank you Levianthan. I don’t want Apple’s comfort food protocol. I know how to configure and use TCP/IP and NetBios. TCP/IP is an open standard. Thanks for the patch information.

If you save that copy of the PTR and never attempt to connect to Battlenet with it, it should remain in that state forever. To avoid the game’s built in launcher, which may try to auto update someday, launch the game directly from the executable in the “x86_64” folder.

As much as I don’t like anything from Apple I still have to say the following:
If you played Wc3 roc or TFT on any patch, you had Bonjour too. Only now it asks for installation

You see so many trees but still miss the forest. Plenty of games handle it like this today. Find me the difference in:
You have to login to play online, and
You have to logout to play offline

Mmm no.
In Total War no in SC2 no.
If You put vs bot You Pley offline and are diferent option vs bot an mutipleyer
