I use mac to play wc3. In my old mac, wc3 can run on 80-90 fps(classic mode)
But in my new macbook pro, it can only run on 60fps. I try to turn off vsync, and set maxfps to 300, it won’t work.
I don’t know what happened, can you help me??
Hey, xueshi! Just to make sure, are you checking the menu when the FPS is at 60? With your new macbook, does it currently have retina display enabled? Does it help to disable retina display temporarily or open in a low resolution?

First of all, I use “/fps” command in game to check my fps. So I am playing the game when I check fps, not on menu.
In my old macbook(retina, 12-inch, early 2016), wc3 can run on 70-80 fps(classic mode), the same setting in my new macbook pro(retina, 13-inch, early 2015), it only have 60fps. Obviously, it was forced on 60fps. But wc3 setting on both mac are exactly the same. Vsync are turned off.
The performance of macbook pro is obviously higher than macbook, so I don’t know why it only 60fps.
I tried to open wc3 in low resolution as you said, it still only have 60fps.
