[EDIT: Just realized how LONG this post is so I APOLOGIZE sincerely, mainly focus on what can be helped; I.e. fixing the WC3 reforged female voices, cuz i can’t find the options anywhere, as well as what happened to my RoC/TFT - i lost accounts i’ve had since 2001-2002… that i’ve kept track of until blizz denied my access upon reforged’s release which is unfair.]
I am experiencing two to three MAJOR problems ever since I finally caved in and bought Reforged:

Since blizzard NO LONGER allowed me to open RoC or TFT to play offline… RoC was my FAVORITE of the two… i’ve had the same two discs and CDKeys for the game. And even when they swapped to digital CDKEY I was allowed to play.
I miss playing RoC OG and idk how or where I can play RoC… or WHY they won’t let me. When I spent my money on BOTH of those games when they FIRST CAME OUT (so FULL PRICE) back when desktops had CDROM drives…
Still have the OG CD cases and game boxes from, what, 2001 and 2002 respectively? -
After downloaded Reforged I knew there was an option to flip between settings of Classic and Reforged… tbh, I tried reforged settings and I’m not trying to be rude but it is IMPOSSIBLE to tell buildings apart without HARD STARING at them… much less going into battle in 1v1 (i can’t tell who is who regardless of color setting or races) and that’s extremely annoying… ESPECIALLY IN MIRROR MATCHES.

Lastly, regarding Reforged - Since I bought a specific version of it I was able to alter DK and DH voices and models to female… and I tried those out but they only worked with reforged graphics turned on. So I abandoned that.
Ever since I turned off Reforged graphics, I’ve been STUCK with the female voices on DK and DH and i can NOT find the option or setting on ANY MENU, ANYWHERE in GAME, outside of Game (as in menu) and COMPLETELY out of game (when its closed) looking at literal “game options/settins”
Someone PLEASE help me figure out how to fix the female voices back to male for DK and DH.
And if you can - I would genuinely LOVE to be able to play RoC again… even if its just offline vs computer…
But due to the fact blizz wouldn’t let me log into my accounts on RoC/TFT - i LOST ALL MY ACCOUNTS that I had been consistently keeping alive/active via making sure to log in as to NOT LOSE the stats, win/loss ratios, icons, and obviously the COUNTLESS MEMORIES and FRIENDLISTS…

Since RoC is what literally got me into Blizzard… to the point of getting into competitive gaming, to even buying my first ever “gaming mouse” the Razr Diamondback LE (i absolutely LOVED that mouse, it was lit up with blue, high DPi for the TIME period, clear body, and i learned about the different mouse grips; for that mouse you had to use “claw grip”
I also ignorantly went to wally world in 2004 ish, and thought I got lucky finding one of their games on sale (Starcraft and BW combo for only $10-$15 so definitely bought those and when I logged on IMMEDIATELY realized these games were much, much older but I had heard SO MUCH about them from my time on RoC - US East channel Ogie, PRE- clan channels, pre “esports”, pre in-game support of clans and tournaments courtesy of Blizzard (clans on both RoC and TFT but Tournaments only were on FT)
At any rate… it also led to me playing WoW OG for YEARS, some of BC, ALL of WotLK as that was my absolute FAVORITE, most of Cata and got to the point where i was good enough in PvE to have a guild PAY for me to transfer both my character to their server AND faction change which was super nice of them and wish I could’ve stayed in touch with them since they were the #1 raiding guild on Alliance Korgath at the time.
I was originally horde only player.
Then I got into SC2 beta, fell in love with protoss and was always top division with high win %. Same with first 3 seasons post-retail release… good memories.
I missed all of the zerg expo and then finally bought both that and Protoss expo because that was only way toplay it… now its free for anyone… did we just NOT get refunded the money for the SC2 purchases?
Or what about RoC and TFT purchases?
I know i didn’t get refunded…
I also played a bit of heroes of the storm
And I played a TON of hearthstone when it first came out. It took me forever to get my first ever real deck with mage. I mean i was a competitive gamer for 15 years or more…
To this day I’m still playing WoW but… it’s nowhere near as fun to play by myself.
I DID have a guild when I returned in the midst of Shadowlands and made a pretty goo group of friends that we did mythic+'s and got top gear/BiS. same with arena.
Stepping back to OG WotLK, I had BiS Ret Pally PVP Gear for 2s (i had mostly PVP gear for resilience and then the 2 piece PvE bonus that would Proc Divine Storm which healed + Heroic Bryntroll which also healed.
add in the fact you could self heal and bubble straight up 100% dmg mitigation + a secondary bubble thats icon is mostly red and white int he shape of a blood droplet?
been a while since i’ve played pally.
Come WotlK, after finishing ICC25 on my pallie, I lost over 80 some rolls on the BiS ARP trinket from Saurfang, it tilted me hard. Took a break for a month, came back, made a DK and it was IINSANE with Heirlooms… like INSANELY OP.
Got maxed out within 1.5-2.5 weeks and started raiding at lvl80 by day3.
Mained Frost dps in PvE and would off-tank as blood with the guild that paid for faction and server change to run with them.
Then in terms of PvP I was LITERALLY 1 point away from 2v2 2400 with my druid healer as unholy dk, and then in 3s, we ran Unholy DK(me), Shadow Priest, and resto druid.
and sadly, we were 3 points away from 2400 when they nerfed Shadow Priest into making that 3s team irrelevant… heartbreaking
just like when I made my first ever twink, with my first ever heirlooms; i made a paladin and the second I get to play WSG - boom servers go down, come back up, and battlegrounds would give you like 2-3 maybe more levels per match; ruining twinks.
then when Garrisons came out in one of the expos came out, it was depressing to me due to the fact you no longer interacted with other people / make friends because you could do everything you needed.
I can’t remember when Worgens first came out or the BG twin peaks (similar to Arathi basin where you capture flags but it only had 3 nodes/flags)
I made my first ever clothie (Healer Priest and then non-clothie healer, resto druid).
Originally druid was supposed to be feral but i quickly learned there was no way i would be successful as feral. then I tried boomboomkin and again, failed at that, but as resto? I was excellent at resto.
When I returned, and played HARD + streaming on twitch; I went back to my MAIN DK and geared him out in blood, frost dw/frost2h and multiple kinds of unholy (2-3 PvE and 2 PvP).
Got up to 2100 in 2s with a friend but we got hard stuck cuz they (i didn’t know) were not only not using macros, didn’t know about gladius, etc. it was tragic.
I also missed 90% of Panda Expansion and 90% of Warlords after I realized all you had to do was garrison and iHATED playing alone in WoW.
I really enjoyed Shadowlands. made a lot of friends, was semi-succesful in streaming but I’ve been hard stuck at sub-75avg viewers so idk if should steaming do to the overall average. If i go live and there’s either no viewers or just 1 or 2… wouldn’t that make it exponentially harder to get 75 average if by SOME miracle i start getting 75-80 ppl watching for a few months, it would take much longer since I’ve been between Affiliate and Partner for 4+ years?
idk how that works.
anyways back to Blizzard issues:
IDK why I’m not allowed to play games I PAID for in ANY CAPACITY… cuz i truly LOVED RoC and I kept track of ALL of my accounts (I had each acct for each race, ud/hu/orc/ne/random) and of course the first accounts i made for RoC and FT to remind me i was once a beginner and to try to remain humble, even though part of my strategy was to mentally mess with the opponent while playing 1v1 i would talk in chat (i had 180-240wpm with 96-98% accuracy peak performance and would play around 240-260apm, non spam other than what EVERYONE does at beginning of game, spamming rally point, selecting workers in goldmine to make them go collect faster etc.
At the end of the day I NEED HELP WITH FIXING THESE THINGS:

Why in the WORLD can I NO LONGER play RoC/TFT original after i PAID FOR THEM when they first came out!? that genuinely bothers me to NO END since I bought them fair n square on their RELEASE DATES… i have NO IDEA where the cdkeys are since i had saved both the OG one on the game disc case and then the digital new key on my OLD desktop which is SOMEWHERE in the house, idk if it’ll even boot up.
I know one tower i had was a TINY little thing in which i later found it was an “integrated Desktop” which sadly meant if one thing went, it ALL went and sadly as you can guess; it happened. somehow it literally caught on fire internally and everything was decimated.
then i got a custom build PC from cyberpowerpc (which i don’t think i can endorse anymore due to the laptop i got from then that I stupidly connected HDMI cable to a 48-50 inch smart TV ( i believe i burned it out but i’m not 100% since the arragenment i had was, smart TV on Desk for netflix and what not) then laptop in bed set up since i was going through multiple health issues, including 6-8 months of my left arm from elbow to finger tips being numb. i’m fortunate the numbness went away… i was so extremely terrified that i had had a stroke and would never be able to use the arm for the rest of my life.
since i went to private college pre from pre-k to 12th, we were taught that nerve damage is some of the most severe due to it being permanent… after the year 2012, somehow it changed from being perma-damaged to nerves being able to regrow and function at precisely 1mm/24hours. as per my doctor informed me in the middle of a crisis/breakdown.
since not only was i streaming/gaming for income, i was also self-teaching via online free courses and youtube channels how to become a front-end web developer while also trying to learn some back end. took too much on.
i kept my laptop on a wooden plank that was hand made, lifted 1.25" off the wood base, had a big mousepad from razr, the ones that was tremendously large. and i had 2 fans to blow cool air underneath the laptop as i fond out they can become SCORCHING HOT.
First issue was the monitor one day went black and there was no solution. and then poof, whole laptop fried. took it to the ONLY pc store in town which has barely anything inside the store and their computer repair person is quite elderly; all he could tell me was the “logic board” fried… which i’m assuming that’s the motherboard? i’ve only ever that onelaptop that was 1400-1500… biggest mistake ever - also i begged them to retrive as much data as possible due to where i was in online coding school which caused me to lose ALL progress and notes and everything and i was over 70% complete with what would lead up to the programming test to see if I could get in for free until graduation where they would AID in job security post-graduation and they’d take a % per paycheck.
OR
you could skip ALL that if you already knew front end web dev completely and enroll for $20k which would NEVER happen… anyway.
then i saved up and have the current set up i do now.
another custom built cyberpowerpc (which i wish iknew there were other websites with better prices AND better employees that will put your PC together with care…)
obviously they have no control what happens once its shipped out so i would have been perfectly fine simply plugging in the GPU (which is the NVIDIA GIGABYTE RTS 2080, along with the 4x sticks of 8GB ram running at around 4400 (idk exact number after the 4400 just know its in the 4400s Hzs range or however its measured.)
And … naturally - they DID NOT INFORM me that the water cooler i was buying on sale was literally the ONLY MODEL COOLERMASTER MAKES that does not have ANY SOFTWARE downloads corresponding with it… the MSI motherboard is supposed to have several more fans but even though my eyesight is garbage, using a bright LED flash light + zoom on phone or using a magnifying glass, reading EXACTLY which part of themotherboard does what… it still didn’t work for what it claimed.
so the specifics of my current set up is 2 monitors, one is 4k, runs at 144hz refresh, slightly bigger than my secondary which is for twitch monitering. that gets up to 1080 since i never play on it and its around 2-6" smaller but like i said, no big deal - exact same brand and model just smaller size and i run it in 1080 instead of half of 4k (forgot exact number), 2160 resolution?
2TB wd_blue SSD, 8 or 10 TB HDD (big mistake, should have just invested in massive SSD storage since certain newer games coming out can ONLY run via SSD.
the liquid cooler by Coolermaster DOES NOT cool it down with the tempered glass panel on which means i need to take it to the PC store ASAP to get it cleaned and have them figure out if the fans are messed up (facing wrong directions… see if they can re-route the cables because it has some serious cable management issues.
the RTS 2080 NIVIDIA by GIGABYTE i mentioned and the total of 32gb RAM all same brand and hzs or however its measured. all in proper 1a 1b 2a 2b format. since i started at 16gb but soon realizedit wasn’t enough and express ordered via amazon same sticks to add to it.
an extra fan that only works if i plug it into an RBG pin and its SUPPOSED to have RBG properties but for w/e reason it doesn’t - again idk why.
i really want to switch back to jus traditional fan cooling…

i DO have a PSU sitting on my nightstand table that i have yet to put in because i don’t want to mess anything up as I’ve NEVER fully built a PC and I’m not about to attempt on my only PC atm which is a “600 Watts - EVGA 600Watts 80 Plus Gold high-efficient Power Supply” so i believe the one i bought to replace would be a better upgrade.
i’ve downloaded/instaled MSI Afterburner, NVIDIA’s GeForce Experience app, Armoury Crate, RazerAxon and RazerSynapse for keyboard and old mouse but now i’ve upgraded to a Corsair Scimitar Elite which i like MUCH MUCH more.
only issue is having to figure out i needed to DL/install iCUE and figure out how to program the side keys into 1-9, 0(10) -(11) =(12) for MMORPG such as WoW.
And for whatever reason I’m having issues when I open it, all my profiles that show up as saved do NOT work… but when I close it, it goes to the setting i saved it as minus the top 2 mouse buttons behind wheelscroll. one of them changes the DPI. it was supposed to be my keybind for autowalk.
if i open iCUE to play WoW i no longer have my lightning which has iceblue almost white on the interior and front but all the buttons, wheel and back corsair logo is a light purple to match my light purple mouse water coolant fan which i found is:

RAM (% being used and when clicked, it shows which programs/apps/etc are using the most, for example the most atm are the Opera tabs I have opened)
GPU (% being used which is 2-5% depending on what i do. even with 40 some tabs of opera open and wc3 reforged open its only 5% so my GPU seems to be good.)
Disk (0% usage) - it shows "processes with high Disk I/O - but idk what that means.
I know i have 12 strands or strings of CPU core or 24? can’t recall.
Lastly, Metrics tab:
CPU Temp: 48-50C, GPU Temp: 40-45C, Mainboard 38-42C, Fanspeed 928 RPM
although I can tinker with fan speed if I want to run them at higher speed permanently.

Also would like to know from BLIZZARD why they’ve taken two games I paid in FULL at the time and now i can NO LONGER EVEN ACCESS THEM
Plus the fact SC2 IN FULL is FREE TO PLAY - I sure would love my money back on WoL, Swarm, and Legacy… cuz I spent money on specific editions… and now its just free??

I could use it to put it back into WoW via Gold Tokens since I’m broke in game last I checked. I’d definitely need gold on Classic, but sadly I missed Wotlk which was my Favorite expansion by MIIIIIIIILES. i mean MILES. absolutely TREMENDOUS amounts of miles compared to all the rest… the only one that comes semi close is Shadowlands because I started playing that at end of s2… got fully geared only for s3 to drop same day. got fully geared again in all 3 specs + PvP got Mythic rating reward in s3 s4 and whatever that awkward waiting period was between Shadowlands and Derpflight which I honestly wasn’t going to get but ended up caving… just like I did with ‘The War Within’
but i no longer have my guildmates to play with… most of my friends have moved on to doing something else (due to the end of C-19 shut downs, most of them are back at their work) and one of my bestest bros I met recently - he joined the military, specifically USMC which I’m genuinely proud of him and also deeply concerned cuz I don’t wanna lose him to some stupid war… he’s too good of a person to die for some oldmens’ greed.
He’s in a pretty cool unit though and an absolute beast now (he was before due to D1 Football college) and then he switched to Marines.
I’m currently on Allience - Sargeras WoW and in need of a helping guild… since idk what to do there’s SO MUCH i’m behind in with 0 idea where to start; it’s complete overload…
I’d honestly feel like it would just be easier starting a new character and using my lvlboost to get started, then item boost at somepoint idk how or when… but yeah.
My DK is stuck with too many quests that idk what they go to and idk what to do to unlock world quests like one of my friends keeps telling me to do… and he’s so impatient… like i’m supposed to automatically know what he’s talkin bout.
my only other option is to completely change up my sleep schedule and try to go back to playing with my Aussie friends since I don’t lag when playing with them.
Only issue is they didn’t like when I would show them strategies on X Y Z raids when I had actual experience in both tanking and Dps, and knew winning strategy… they’d rather wipe all night and call it a nght after 10k-20k gold repairs than listen to me… which blew my mind.
Then when they DID finally listen to me on behest of 2-3 of my closer friends thats in their guild - they finally spoke up for me and said “lets give it a shot” we downed the bosses in 1-2 attempts every time i told them the strategy… so yeah its hard to play solo and even more so when the few things i DO KNOW go ignored and no one helps with the things i do NOT know.
Anyway, rant over, someone PLEASE just help me fix my WC3 Re-Forged voice situation and tell me what in the world is going on with RoC/TFT and will blizz refund my money since they won’t let me play games I literally own??
