Getting this patch out by then would be a decent start, though you mentioning that kinda makes me wonder why they didn’t wait for Reforged until that day in the first place. It probably would have ended up turning out better lol

you might have a point. blizzard likely felt preasured by an activision that wanted to shut down their rts division.

The PTR still has numerous issues that need to be addressed before they can seriously consider releasing it.

But if you click on WC3 from the list of games, you can buy Reforged or go to the Gear shop, where you can shop for any game BUT WC3^^

You know… they could have called the category “Warcraft”… including all related games…
At this point someone may wonder who woke up one day and decided to wipe all traces of this game from the face of the earth. My only suspect is a very sore loser who couldn’t stand to lose every single game and magically got hired by Blizzard in some very high decision-taking position^^
…and that’s his revenge against this game and the community^^
A sale would be a sure fire way to attract new players!

2-3 weeks of testing is what they said. they can fix minor issues along the way or at a later date. the current ptr season end date is 7/1 so id expect a release by the following week at the latest.

I think that the chances of a sale on WC3R are slim to none…
There’s already a sale going on and you can have three guesses at what isn’t included in the sale (the first two dont count)
Got to make up for all that “WarCraft III : Refunded” losses.

They cannot have this game go on sale as long as there are automatic refunds.
It doesn’t mean that you have to sink it in any possible way^^
I doubt it. Since release there hasn’t been a single cosmetic added.
I don’t think that will change until they’ve at least gotten caught up on ladder features.
This is why pre-sales are always bad. Acti-Blizz suits wrung their hands over all the pre-sales without anything to show for it so forced the devs to put out an unfinished product.

i’m trying to keep myself calm for the most part but honestly i am not positive about the health of warcraft 3. Reforged is doing too much damage without mending wounds it caused after its initial release.
Even things like the newly released matchmaking feels low quality and poorly thought out to me, like why is the progression bar, the big yellow one feel like it glitched out of the screen and jumped in the middle spanning from one end to the other, couldn’t they make a simple readjustment for the progress bar to be in a more grounded position located somewhere neatly ?
That’s just a layman critique, i have a lot of worse critiques that i dont really want to talk about right now. its more about the new things that they do that feels off and careless.
