they use the excuse the fallback is to keep the soul/originality of Warcraft 3, but the real reason is they cut the reforge project fund so the reforge team dont have more fund to create better content. Cuz they think rts is kinda dead genre so with this idea they sacrifice warcraft 3 with it. And using the sentences soul/originallity of wc3 for excuse of the fall back is kinda shame.

thats a joke statement, right?

90% of all bug reports in the beta forums have no blizz response whatsoever
and if there is a response to a bugreport, its “can you post your dxdiag”.

if blizzard needed more informations on certain issues they should just have used the forums and ASK PEOPLE. i stopped reporting issues 2 months into the beta because apparently blizz doesnt care at all. no responses from blizz except from my boy torelef, who couldnt do more than “i forwarded that”, majority of bugs didnt get fixed, effects didnt get fixed, unit scaling didnt get fixed, color schemes for units and terrain didnt get fixed, we didnt even get proper patch notes or forum moderation, and lets not forget the disabled embedded pictures and inability to post links in the beta forum - hamstringing your beta testers with maximum effort. they didnt care for beta feedback. its a simple truth. theres nothing we betatesters could have done to better the situation. we are the clowns in this, wasting our time and effort into worthless bugreports and feedback

the current release version is the beta with a buggy campaign tacked on and the color bug and amd cache stuttering fixed in a post launch patch a week in.

thats by far the worst beta playtest i’ve been into. find someone else to blame, like the dev team for example.

You just proved everything I said…
You don’t need pictures for a bug report. You don’t need links for a bug report.
You didn’t even bother to continue to report.

So I’m left thinking… Why people like you are even chosen as beta testers when you obviously don’t understand what your job as a beta tester is or even seem to care.

Devs don’t have time to read through the forums - there’s hundreds of posts. They are busy working. You know, the thing you apparently don’t know what is.

Lmfao good one randy

maybe you can see why embedded pictures and links could be slightly useful.

whats your contribution? 25 posts? rofl. 80% of my posts are beta or game feedback related. i made some posts after blizzcon 2018 and everything else is beta release onwards.

Wow, you should not judge people before you actually have information about their doings or not doings! And in the end every beta tester is not paid for this task and reporting bugs is pure goodwill and enthusiasm for getting the WC3 everyone wants to have. Still playing computer games is only a hobby for most of the people and so you can’t blame people for not being 150% commited to beta testing a program.

You are right in one point, that devs are not supposed to look into forums, BUT Beta Forums exists so that community managers gather information about bugs and report them to dev teams. When there really is more information needed it is no problem to communicate this and ask for more information. The main problem here probably was that the developers simply didn’t have enough time to start fixing the bugs, because they probably have been busy with feature implementatioms. An indicator for this is that not all features are implemented yet. So most certainly they were pushed to rush through the features leaving quality and bugs behind.
