now, as Warcraft 3 Reforged is out, could you please release Warcraft 3 Classic on Good Old Games, as you already did with Warcraft 1,2 and Diablo? :slight_smile:

Why not just buy an official WC3 disc? They’re cheap. You can find them even on Amazon/Ebay for like 10-15$ and you can patch it to whatever version you want. That’s what I did and I’m glad I did that. It’s cool to have one of the best games I’ve ever played on official CD.

Problem, some of those discs do not have the Rexxar Campaign installed. Or at least all the missions are not present.

I don’t know mine is completely good, lacks nothing at all. It reads on the back of the case “Game Of The Year” and “Over 10 Million Sold”. It does say it is compatible with Windows 7 so I guess it’s a more recent official disc.

It’s one case with both games (RoC and FT)

I recommend patching the game to 1.27a/b. The links for the official patches should still be available unless Blizzard took them down.

You just need to download any of the post 1.17. patch or just update game from main menu after clicking on multiplayer (battlenet) button.

The main issue is to find where to put those disks in ;] I don’t have a CD/DVD on my laptop even since 5-6 years ago :smiley:

But I remember trying that with a recent re-install of the disc and the update didn’t work. This was months ago mind you before Reforged came out.

Well I still have an old laptop with an optical drive and what I did was, I took the discs and copied all the files from both of them and put the files on my flash drive. And I can install the games like normal on the newer computer with no optical drive.
It’s not that difficult to sort it out.

Why not buying an external CD-Runner for 25€? If you really love Warcraft III so much, this should be no problem for you?

Up until now I used the 3 MB stand alone installer, because I avoided the battle net app like the plague and didn’t wanted to tie up my keys to the account… now I need to do that anyway to play online since this morning.
