Want to play TFT on Mac, but asking for CD KEY

Hello,
I pre-purchased reforged for Mac today. I want to pay TFT until reforged comes out or they send me a beta key, but after installing the Mac client for warcraft 3 it’s asking me for a CD key for ROC. I’ve tried following the troubleshooting steps and it seems that I’m just in an endless loop. I can’t even figure out how to send an actual ticket to blizzard, they just keep giving me links to things that aren’t helpful.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

So after installing the classic wc3 client on PC, it brings up the same screen (requesting a CD key), but there are two options on the screen. The left option is to enter a ROC CD-Key. The right option is to login with your battle.net login (the account you’re posting on). If you successfully login with your battle.net login, it will proceed to launch the game and you can play campaign, or on classic battle.net, etc…

If you don’t see two options on the CD-Key pop-up prompt, then perhaps the OSX installer was never updated to observe the new type of authentication.

I’m having the same issue on my Mac. When pre-ordering Reforged I thought I might get a CD key for WC3 like I have for Diablo 2 in my battle.net account.

Just open a ticket with support saying you have purchased reforged but you are a MAC user, they will send you a CD key to use.

Hey guys I ended up having to make a ticket with blizzard (contact them). They sent me a key but I had to talk to a few ppl cuz they originally sent me the wrong one…
