Hello,
I just finished to install Warcraft 3 Reforged and when I start it by clicking “Play” I’ve got a black screen and after 5 seconds doing nothing I’m back on the desktop with an error message “The application met an unsuspected error”.
I tried several times, rebooted the PC, desconnected/reconnected to Battle.net, updated grahic drivers, the problem still appears.
I’ve read through the forum and didn’t find any topic about this error.
An idea?

This crash appears to be related to a cinematic crash bug.
Navigate to your Documents/Warcraft III folder and open War3Preferences.txt. Locate the seenintromovie=1 line and make sure a 1 is listed next to it. Locate the windowmode=0 line and make sure a 0 is listed next to it. Launch the game and please tell me if the game still crashes.
