Unplayable since update

Once in a game, custom or ladder, I can’t even move because of how bad the delay is, it’s unplayable. It only started to do this for me after the update.
Are they still working things out? If not, what can I do to fix this?

I have fps 1-2 in game, tried to add command -legacykerningt but nothing has changed

If your lag is network latency then it could be due to the servers seeing unusually high traffic due to everyone jumping in to check out the update. This usually stabilises in a few hours or days once they get some idea of how much infrastructure is being used and needed.

If your lag is low frame rate then something else would be the cause. I recommend updating graphic drivers in case there are new optimisations.

That will unlikely change much as it does not sound like a performance enhancement option.

Since last update the GUI has a lot more lag and my mouse has become invisible (big problem)
When i try to play LegionTD (the only game i play), the game completely breaks.
Flashing images appear, i can’t see the game, impossible to play.

I have the same problem, since the update on 18/8/2022, after i click play and the game start loading (longer than usual to load). I dont even see my mouse, let alone start any games… This is BS. The upgrade has made things completely unplayable… what’s going on?

Can someone please explain?

Agree. Main menu became lagging , till update i had it smooth.

Same here this reminds of the days of the OG when they would release a patch and would break what need didn’t fixing

Although I do agree that menu transitions are low frame rate, the cursor is rendering at 120 FPS for me in the menus. Ryzen 9 3900X + GTX 760 (very old GPU).

I suggest people who are having low refresh rate cursors and large input latency start posting their specifications in case it is an issue affecting specific hardware or hardware configurations.

Same for me mouselag is so bad I can’t even navigate. For the love of *** it’s a windows 95 game wt* does blizzard keep making additional requirements.

Same here! Game was working perfectly, than after update i got 2.7 fps ingame… Maybe blizzard need us to have dual rtx 3090 to be able to play 20 years old game? this is so insane. Same game, 99% of people use old graphics, but now it takes 40 gbs of space, and doesnt work at all. Its shame , shame , shame for blizzard. I think they are trying to destroy this game, so people will pay and play their newer titles. SHAME! I7 3770K GTX 780 TI. IN all aspects perfect for warcraft 3 …

MacOS issues should probably be reported separately since they are unlikely the same as the ones Windows users have. The MacOS builds use Metal API as opposed to Direct3D11.

I can’t even play campaign missions without this terrible game crashing rofl

I posted some issues i have come across on another thread.

I cannot believe they found a way to make this game worse, after the worst launch in the history of video games, the 1 patch everyone was waiting ages for, literally makes it SO MUCH WORSE.

“me to” reports are unlikely to be helpful with solving the issue. You will want to post at least some basic technical specifications of your system such as what operating system, what CPU, what GPU, how much RAM and what sort of drive Warcraft III is installed to.

bruh thats Blizzard job not everyone is a computer nerd we just want play damn game more ppl complain the better so they actually fix it and make it right omg

How can they fix it if they cannot see it broken?

For example I just played a ~2 hour long custom map with 3 other players without any issues at all. Warcraft III just starts. Joining lobby goes smoothly. Loading times are very fast. 50 ms ping and pretty reliable 120 FPS the entire game. Was with classic graphics though.

A lot of people are not having any issues with the new patch. As such if you are having issues you will need to explain what issues you are having and provide anything that could help recreate or possibly lead to a solution of the issue.
