Unit selection limit and missing F2 functionality

I can’t believe they released the game with the same unit selection limit as the old game and no “select all” function via F2 button as Starcraft 2 had. I’m not pro and don’t care about becoming one. When my units are scattered all around the map, it’s just no fun, especially in 4v4 games.

I required hand surgery TWICE due to a bloody cyst in my wrist that grew because of repeated rotational movement required for group controls in this game and SC2 (ctrl-7-9 with the left hand is not a healthy movement no matter what).

With controls straight out of 2002 I’m sure as hell not getting back into the multiplayer of this game…

Lol you for real? Just how many units do you think you can make? Most pros use 3 groups and it’s more than enough. Maybe you should learn to do that. Have your buildings on 4-5-6 and your melee on 1, ranged on 2 and casters on 3 and you’re golden.

It was also announced on Blizzcon not to change the max 12 selection. Guys, this is like the 100000x topic. Get used to it or just leave it. It is not going to change.

Yup, it’s pretty obvious the limit should have been raised by at least 6 more units. (Preferably doubled) I did my best to argue in favor of such a change on these forums Prometheus.

Now you get to enjoy watching a bunch of mouth breathing, status quo defending, rigid thinking buffoons reply to your thread as though you’re the problem for even suggesting such a change.

As others on this forum had predicted the game is now DOA.

The game is DOA because of a myriad of reasons, none of which involve the unit selection. That design decision is a cornerstone to the game’s pace and balance.

And I get to see a player that can’t use Control groups but can ad hom fallacy

12 units is enough if you know how to play the game. Probs frustrating for noobs though.

I’ll bet you don’t play Zerg in StarCraft. Those 0.5 supply units chew through command groups so fast.
