Hi, I decided to request (maybe reminder) of something little annoying.
Broken facialanimation/lipsync/mouth movement everyone can call it whatever they want.
Bug appeared in patch 1.33. Some patches it was more visible, some patches less, but its still there. After 2years of ‘fixing reforged’
To the point. Bug is related to group of units. If we have bounded group of units for example “CTRL+1” then by clicking “1” There is a chance for character to be frozen when supposed to talk (voice is there. throught closed lips)
Chance for this bug is rising as we get more units in group. And what’s the most funny? For example we have full group of units. Character don’t talk. We are going to make new group of units that dont bug our character. And it’s possible. Sometimes couple of units are causing this bugs, sometimes one unit, and sometimes near every unit which was in group.
Whats interesting though. When we hipothetically selectively decided to take to our group 12units which don’t corrupt mouth movement at all, it’s not a permament solution. In any time any unit from this group can cause this issue and finding it and removing it from group temporarily again allowing our character to move mouth >.>
Bug is happening when unit is chosen from hotkey. When it is bugged, there is 50/50 chance that rightclick will also respond same way. Sometimes only choosing group make unit talk without mouth, sometimes both.
Hope i explained what is going on with this talking animation bug as much as it was possible, and maybe someone important read this and maybe it will give some clue why it is like that and what is possible solution
