I’ve found that the Warcraft 3 Reforged beta is still installed on my system, without having any option to select and uninstall the beta client. I would like to remove stuff like this in an attempt to keep my system clean of clutter.
Any help would be appreciated.
Assuming Windows, is there an entry for the beta in your Programs and Features?
If not, the vast majority of the program is located in the Program Files/Program Files (x86) folders. So manually deleting it from there will get rid of 95%+ of the space it uses.
Yeah, it’s in my programs and features. Trying to remove it through there redirects me to the Blizzard app which gives me an error - as I assume it’s not known in the Blizzard client anymore?
Yeah, the launcher must have lost track of the install.
So you can just manually delete it from the Program files. That will get rid of 95% of the game. You can also do a search of the computer with “Warcraft” and remove everything with “Beta” included in the name. Just be careful to not delete anything from the live Warcraft game (or from World of Warcraft).
