Hello,
I own original copies of Warcraft 3: Reign of Chaos and The Frozen Throne, and I still have the original CD keys for both games.
A few days ago, before reinstalling my operating system, I was able to launch and play Warcraft 3: Reforged without any issues.
After the system reinstall, the Battle.net application no longer detects my installed Warcraft 3: Reign of Chaos and The Frozen Throne, and I cannot add them to the app manually. Without this, I am unable to access Battle.net features in the game.
Please assist me in restoring access to the game.
Thank you.
Hey! I have the exact same error, I used to play wc3 a few days ago and I reinstalled my windows and I cannot manaage to get wc3 back on my computer. I did download the “offline” version but Bnet does not seem to figure out that I actually own the game. Please help!
I have the same problem. After reinstalling Windows, BattleNet doesn’t detect my Warcraft 3 and tells me to buy another one, even though the keys are visible in the app and codes are assigned.
I recived answer and ITS WORKS
-
Log out of the Battle.net App: Make sure you are fully logged out of your account.
-
Open the Battle.net App without logging in: When you open the app, on the login screen, you’ll see a gear icon in the top right corner (next to the email or phone number field). Click on that gear icon and select the option “Continue without logging in.”
-
Download Warcraft III: Once inside the app without being logged in, you should see the option to install Warcraft III. Download the game from there.
-
Log in to verify your license: After the game is installed, log in to the Battle.net App so the system can verify that you have the original Warcraft III Classic license associated with your account.
