As title says, is this the case?
There are, for example, some fun maps that I like to play solo without having to worry about having to complete them in 1 sitting.
I can play solo in offline mode for an hour or two, save and leave. Come back later and finish it another day, etc.
Why is this not a thing in Reforged?
I have poked around quite a bit… have I just missed it? Even if you revert the game to classic or turn off your internet, you still CAN NOT save the custom game as you could in the past.
Help?
Unfortunately, as far as I know you cannot save/load custom games anymore since they essentially act like MP games. It’s possible that they’ll add the feature eventually, along with the ability to properly pause but for now we’re stuck with this and a 3 pause limit.
My hope is that they add the ability to make offline custom games that behave like the originals.
Yikes… the more I give it chances the more the Reforge disappoints me.
I have a lot less gripes about Reforged than most people (honestly all I wanted from it was to play classic WC3 with updated graphics) - but this is my one very serious frustration. I create custom games to play myself - intentionally long games where I can level my heroes up to 50 and so forth…but I can’t do it in one sitting. Really unsure why they made it so you can’t save custom games - even in offline mode. This one really hurts because I used to spend 95% of my time creating and playing custom games. I wish they’d address it and say “we are going to fix this” or “we are not” so I’d know rather to hold out hope or not.
