No one can. It’s been an issue since day 1.
There’s a thread in the Technical Support forum that Bliz occasionally stops by to check on legacy links. You can try posting there with your info and they might be able to check it for you.
Please. None of that is true. Bliz has confirmed many successful links since the game launched.

Definitely. As I pointed out, there’s reports of many successful links in the thread I referenced.
As long as the process went through without an error on the first try, you’re all set. The UI element that displays the legacy stats isn’t in the game yet (that’s also indicated in the referenced thread).
