Well, I did claim on the 4th that I’d terminate my account after two weeks, if Blizzard didn’t roll back the old client for Classic users. From where I’m sitting, that’s roughly 24 hours from now.
Well, that’s that, I suppose. I’ve got a day left to pin my hopes on, but I wouldn’t count on it. Gotta take a stand or whatever, right?
What are you complaining about? If you wish to play the classic game, click on options, and then click the tab which toggles back and forth between classic and reforged… not sure why you’d wanna play this great game with worse graphics than what are available.
If you enjoy the game, good for you but it’s in an objectively bad state and that’s your business if you enjoy it, so don’t act like people are weird for not getting what they pay for like the rest of the minority defending Blizzard does.
Secondly, the old version is not there, just a classic mode.
Objectively bad state!? Could you be a little more specific, it is hard to fix a problem when you do not identify them in great details. Secondly, old “version”? Even the original Warcraft 3 had numberous updates, patches, fixes, and each one was called a new “version”. This here is nothing more than a MAJOR update, which required a LOT of hard work, which Blizzard employees deserve credit for countless hours and money spent on behalf of the company. If you like the 1994 graphics better, then good for you, maybe consider playing Warcraft 1 or 2! When you say it is in an “objectively bad state”, don’t speak as if it is for all of us, because that is what “YOU” think. The game is great, I’m awaiting a Warcraft 4 announcement.
This is a great game, it is getting lots of attention for that reason, and that reason only!
Just refund and if the game get better later you could just repurchase, not like it had an early access exclusive contents or discount.
They aren’t going to do a rollback, that’s obvious. Like with all their new content across the games, they are going to work on and develop what exists.
What I think you would have had a better chance at was Bliz reenabling Battlenet 1.0. And when players connect to it, give the option to upgrade to Reforged or not, instead of force updating.

They were never going to roll back to the classic client. Never. So I guess this is goodbye. Have fun with whatever game you decide to play.

The new graphics are disgusting.
They are getting what they paid for.
They got 4+ hours of remade cutscenes, not the ones they hoped for and which they led themselves to believe they would get (ie. when it says work in progress like said video clearly specifies it means anything and everything can happen).
They got updated graphics.
They will get a new UI
They will get new clans
They will get rankings
In fact, the only thing they won’t get is tournaments, because no one used them in the damn first place, so it has been scrapped. It’s pointless supporting something no one really use.
I get that some of those things should have been present from the get go. I also agree that they should have been present from the get go. But if it’s between making a deadline and then pushing back some features until after launch to make sure they work and doesn’t completely break the game or not making a deadline. Guess what any company will choose. I mean. It is a company.
Somehow I get the feeling that most of the people complaining has never worked a day in their life…
I bought a brand new car, It arrived with no tires. the company say “They will provide new tires” i should be happy the paint is shiny, and the engine is working. I have no right to complain about the missing tires 
Not exactly an accurate analogy.
A more accurate analogy, if a bit lengthy would be that a company advertises a new version of an older car that’s going into production. A remodel of sorts. You put in an order for that car because of all the advertised bells and whistles. The company then informs everyone at a car convention a year later that due to feedback from fans of the old car, that some of the features from the new car are being removed as they don’t want to ruin the iconic image that the old car represented.
Finally when you get the car, you find that due to the roads in your area, the car doesn’t perform as well as it should, and there are some issues with replacable parts in the engine. The manufacturer states that they are sorry about the issues, that they’ll send out replacement parts, and finally they offer no questions asked refunds for those who simply are not happy with their car.
But folks still rant and rave demanding the original version of the car that the manufacturer stated they weren’t going to be delivering at the convention.

Well, truth be told, the GMs themselves claim that if you have grievances, they generally won’t pass it on to the devs. Instead, people should use the forum.
So here I am on the forum with my grievances. But no, I guess Blizzard wouldn’t pay much attention to a single individual, allthough I am in fact wearing a red t-shirt at the moment.
Happens all the time actually.
Especially in game development. A lot of big things are announced, but over time things don’t get implemented. Think this is the first time a Blizzard game has had this problem? It isn’t. From when World of Warcraft was first announced all the way up to today there have been features planned and announced but never delivered.
So only good thing about u is correct spelling of word you. Dude, I’m impressed.
