Tournament Bug?

So I played 1vs1 tournament this morning and qualified for the final bracket.
In the first round i got a freewin, because opponent wasnt showing up. The system gave me the message that i should watch in the bracket, If I got the win, then I could stop the queue.
(Normally when you stop the queue, it means giving up.)
Since I got the win, I stopped the queue und waited for the quarter final to start.

Problem is, I never got a message for applying for that and I Just got defloss.

So my question is: was that a bug, or did I do this to myself by stopping the queue or whats the deal Here? Just to avoid in in the future.

Tournament is unplayable, same thing happens to me, sometimes i dont even get the invite when im in the finals, sometimes wins doesnt count because the client is so laggy.
It has been like this for a while, better to uninstall and play on champions.
