Half life fans still havent gotten episode 3 (most likely never will) star citizen made 100 mill and was supposed to be released years ago, (plus the added a $27k microtransaction) Animal Crossing: New Horizons is getting delayed until next year (if there fan base can wait, then can we) Duke Nukem fans waited 10 years to play Forever, and lastely… Illidan waited 10 thousand years in prison, so I think we can handle a few more months.

Lmao ok well my post wasn’t ment to be taken to seriously but this is actually just wrong. New Horizon’s is available for preorder. And before they had it if you donated enough to star citizen, you get a copy of the game, which is the exact same as pre order. (Now you just have to buy into an “alpha” of the game)

Fire emblem fans were told they were getting a game on the switch, and had to wait over a year for any kind of information beyond “It will be a Fire Emblem game, and it will be on the Switch.”
Age of empire fans were told Age of Empires 4 would happen back in 2017, and that’s still pretty much all the info anyone has on it.

That was entirely the fault of the fans.
They were told there was a Diablo project being announced, and a Diablo project was announced.
They got exactly what they were promised. They just decided it was something else before they had any real information, and were disappointed because it wasn’t exactly what they were expecting.
