He is right though, how is he a ‘fanboy’? lol. If WC4 was ever made though I would prefer it continued where WC3 left off. That custom campaign Curse of the Forsaken does pretty much that job though

I can’t quote a source (can’t be bothered to dig for it) but the (now former) blizz devs said that if they would ever continue the Warcraft RTS they would continue from where TFT left off.
And that makes sense.
World of Warcraft’s story is a burning pile of trash. Mountains of retcons combined with bad story writing.

What makes WoW history bad is the cheeky Retcons.
To the level that I throw you an intro novel of why Sylvanas would never start a war and then Sylvanas starts a war.
I show you how Baien does not care about the death of thousands of innocents but he worries that they torture one.
Not to mention that almost all of his plots end up open and unfinished.

I think Blizzard’s reign as a good RTS developer is over, so I think some might agree that it is the end of Warcraft, do you share this sentiment?

I was hoping for a pure fantasy setting new RTS, AOE4 is not exactly fantasy with Orcs and Elfs and other Non-human races.
At this point, I’m honestly tired of ANYTHING Greed$$ard can come up with.
I’ll buy something from them when they WON’T have MTX.

Played Warcraft I and II, loved Diablo I and II, liked Diablo III, bought almost all Starcraft stuff, including the skins, commanders, collector’s editions, supported them as well as I could. Read the lore, pre-ordered Reforged Spoils of War Edition.
The Reforged was the second game I refunded in my entire 41 years life, after Alien: Colonial Marines.
I pre-ordered PC collector’s edition of Cyberpunk 2077, I don’t regret it, but I can tell you this: I will NEVER pre-order again. I will NEVER pre-order something from Blizzard. Except maybe Diablo II, I will NEVER pay for some mobile-crap shovelware when I have a 5900X and a 3080 at home.
Blizzard is not just dead and buried, it’s now desecrated, zombified, soul-sucking, and pure freaking evil.
If there was a Satan reincarnated in the gaming industry, the “fire 800 people” Bobby is exactly the smiling Beelzebub we all know and hate…

the last blizzard game i purchased was warcraft 3 reforged or diablo 3(on my other profile). i play with a lot of people that do not want to pay for games. owning another license enables them to play on my second profile. i do the same with steam games. it is not illegal, just costly for me. i log in however, as i value security. i am not going to buy any first person shooters from blizzard. overwatch was just terrible. i tried it during the beta and once when it was free and i quit after a few minuttes.
Only way to save the game is to reboot it honestly. I just dont want Blizzard to do it
The only thing’s that still make money in RTS for Blizzard is SC2.
They let it alive with only balance team devs that delivers patches every 3 months.
As a lifelong fan of the Warcraft series, I say with all honesty that I do not want a Warcraft 4. Not from this Blizzard.
