there is 2 types of demos. there is pre-release demos which shows the game as it was at the time and post-release demos which shows the game as it is supposed to be. warcraft 1 had both while warcraft 2 had only 1 type. diablo 1 had both types of demos. some demos contains all units and buildings but only 1 or 2 maps(dark reign, war breeds, wargames). a beta test on the other hand is a way to test multiplayer for stability and balance.

Not sure about that, if you look the trailer they compared Reforged and Original Warcraft, but they removed the shadows in original Warcraft so that reforged looks much better isnât that ironic.
New patch will come soon with 3vs3.4vs4.FFA.Nightelf, ofc the game has bugs and alot issues like colors,unit size,terrain, and alot more the game looks like mess right now but itâs just beta they gonna fix that issues, but the graphic will stay same like now they just add more polishing,shadowsâŚetc⌠there will be no huge changes.As you said the 2018 version was just demo so they make hype and people start buying the game.
the next patch is likely to include the night elves but, other game modes might have to wait until they stabilise the current ones.
The demo was a part of finished game that they already have.
They donât need to globaly change the models,just add some more renders,shaders and effects to make it look like the Culling.
Beta itâs just beta - they donât need to make it look perfect - All you have in your beta isnât a finished look.All they need to add is just a few more renders

how can be demo a finished game when the game was in start of creation, they show the video only for hype and went for silent 1 year, they just disaperared, and they came now with this beta, i played many beta games and this is the worst one most bugish thing, even alpha state games are way superior then this beta.

then? think you mean than. the stuff shown in the culling demo seem to be the finished stuff but, only 2 of 4 races was shown. they likely developed the 2 others during the silence. the heroes shown was also limited to arthas, malganis and uther. the rest was likely not finished.
They did have finished Humans,Undead and Orcs,They did said that the game was already in progress for three years before 2018 Blizzcon. Do you really think that game,which has 4 years of development,can look like the Beta we have?

Guys there is still a lot for testing. I hope they start testing new ladder and MMR right after NE is out. No way this game is out before 31.12 which is also an estimated date.

Yes! The terrain looked so much better with cool shadows/shaders in 2018 graphics, everything looked better in the Blizzcon2018!
