Noobs will quit because they get stomped by high level players; high level players will loose interest because they have to play with noobs in 2on2 etc

MMR is still in the game, so adding a rank system is not going to solve anything lol.
Seriously, we desperately need ranks and stats. You can no longer detect 40% players or shut their mouth by pointing them to their stats. Reality is hard and these scrubs have to get their fair share.

Dead? dude its custom maps that kept the original alive not ranked. Normal vs games get boring super quickly for most people.
the current MMR is not the official MMR, the current MMR is a work-in-progress as they test out new things… when they release the official ranked ladder system, the current MMR will be erased

is that why I know of about 15-20 different youtubers that all strictly play custom games, and yet I cant think of even 1 person who plays ranked ladder? or do I have that backwards? who makes money playing custom tournaments?

look custom games are a great part of the wc3 community, but you cant say it was custom games alone that single handedly kept this game alive… both custom games and ranked ladder are part of the game and its community
the most popular custom map was dota, and we all know the story of what happened there

says the guy who has to rely on streamers and youtubers to defend ranked games. Still doesnt change the fact that ranked games were dead for the original wc for a long time until the reforged, while custom games actually went on strong until the reforged
ranked ladder was doing fine back in 2014/15, but around 2016/17 blizzard started causing all sorts of problems, starting with AT not working, then I don’t remember the exact date but there was a solid month where it was almost impossible to loginto bnet at all, and then they got rid of hostbots in 2018, which all lead to a huge decrease in players
but that wouldn’t have happened if they left the game alone
I understand that we lost a lot of custom maps which no longer work on reforged, and that kinda sucks I guess, but a lot of maps do still work and the ones that don’t can be played on the older patches for TFT
I actually think in another year or 2, the custom games community will be bigger than ever, because there are new features in the map editor and hopefully blizzard continues to improve it, which will increase the map making community with new talent and resources
how many popular custom game clans/groups are there? the only one I know is ENT and I don’t even think they are still that popular anymore… whats the most popular custom map? dota? does that even count still?
nonsense. just a few weeks before reforged released i was playing 1on1 and 2on2 and no matter at which time of the day i instantly found matches. stop lying.

So? Its not a broken MMR system seeing as Ive been playing against people with the same amount of experience. To claim that an MMR system is different and broken makes no sense at all to me without using citations for your argument. This MMR is not even that bad seeing as they have had experience making MMR systems for years now.
