    This version is the worst version of Warcraft 3 on the line in 16 years, I hope the development team can fix it urgently. Otherwise these bugs will ruin this game!

I agree since the update, i can’t play a single game, it’s laggy and poor graphics. I remove all overlay, low on everything and sill lags. I can play without good graphic but the mouse lag and low FPS of 7-9 FPS, the game is totally unplayable.

I tried this “C:\Program Files\Warcraft III\Warcraft III Launcher.exe” -graphicsapi Direct3D9 as the game master suggested and still not good.

I feel like this update is forcing us the loyal players of wc3 FT to buy WC3 reforged.

Since the beginning of ROC to FT, everything was great. It’s very disapointing…

I don’t think you’re supposed to use the -graphicsapi Direct3D9 on your launcher. Instead try the following:

“C:\Program Files (x86)\Warcraft III\x86\Warcraft III.exe” -graphicsapi Direct3D9

so for example my shortcut to war3 uses the following:

“C:\Program Files (x86)\Warcraft III\x86\Warcraft III.exe” -windowmode fullscreen

you might not have the program files (x86) in which case just replace with the path to your war3 folder.

Can you please tell me what Is the shortcut on the target should exactly be like?

This is what my one is saying: “C:\Program Files\Warcraft III\Warcraft III Launcher.exe” -graphicsapi Direct3D9

I did try your suggestion “C:\Program Files (x86)\Warcraft III\x86\Warcraft III.exe” -windowmode fullscreen

and this error pop up "the name ‘"C:\Program’ specified in the Target box is not valid. Make sure the path and the file name is correct.

I am sorry i m a newbie when it comes to this sort of things… can someone help please… currently my mouse lags and my fps is 7 completely unplayable right after the upgrade, everything was fine before.

go to your warcraft 3 folder on your C drive and find the file Warcraft III.exe then look in the url bar in your folder window for the path. Yours will probably be:

“C:\Program Files\Warcraft III\x86\Warcraft III.exe”

YOU ARE A GENIUS!!! It worked but i had to type this:
“C:\Program Files\Warcraft III\x86\Warcraft III.exe” -graphicsapi Direct3D9 to work, the -full windown didnt work.

My warcraft file was located under program files–> x86 file → wacraft III.

There were 2 files: 1x86 file and 1x86_64.

Good ness now i can play again. Thank you so much, YOu are the best, you manage to solve my problem while the game master failed.

the next version is live on the test realm, you can play that for the time being. that goes for all the people having trouble with this version.

This worked for me too! Thank you! I ended up creating a shortcut of the x86 Warcraft.exe to my desktop. Then I changed the target to “C:\Program Files\Warcraft III\x86\Warcraft III.exe” -graphicsapi Direct3D9

“C:\Program Files\Warcraft III\x86\Warcraft III.exe” -graphicsapi Direct3D9 only seemd to work with the x86 and not the regular launcher

The Blizz - AI does not choose any hero skills because their names were changed in the WorldEdit. “Holy Light” for example is now “[AHhb] Holy Light”. The AI doesn’t know this “knew spell” and doesn’t choose it. Sadly this makes all single-player games unenjoyable
