The game is not working on Windows 11!

The game refuses to start, although my computer fully meets the requirements. I am not getting any errors or notifications from the game about this

The game works fine on Windows 11. Your issue is not due to the operating system you are running, but some other factor.

Please run dxdiag, click save all information, post it on Pastebin, and link it here. No one can help you if you don’t post this information. It is not enough for you to say “i meet the requirements.” That isn’t a guarantee the game will work, so we need more information.

There are multiple potential causes for your issue, none of which even depend on the operating system at all (Windows 10, 8, 7 can all get this issue, you are not getting it just because you’re on 11)

I havent been able to log on for over a month now too. this sucks

I am unsure how to go about this would you mind dumbing it down for me ? where is this diagnoostic? thanks

Please keep your issues to your own threads instead of posting in random other threads about it.

The problem is solved. It was necessary to open the Windows settings, go to the “Exploit Protection” section, create a parameter for Warcraft III.exe and disable “Control Flow Protection (CFG)”. This setting is only available in Windows 11 and possibly in Windows 10, so in fact it’s about Windows)))

Well its true, those security settings actually interfere with a lot of things, particularly software developed before Windows 11 came out. It hadn’t occured to me to mention it (I’m fairly sure they’re not on by default, but I could be mistaken?)
