Good job Warcraft 3 Reforged dev team. You have proven yourselves to be superior to the common forum troll. The dev team is now at least on par with the uncommon forum troll.

…You know those one indie companies that don’t even complete a game. I’m sure there’s at least one that someone can remember the name of. Some terrible company out there exists I’m sure. Or even not a company, but some kind of dev team that exists in a company.

Freejam.
They did Robocraft. A money sinking game in alpha for 3 years and beta for one month after releasing a game with a new name that you had to buy again.
Full of bugs and basically all the content you bought were removed and then reintroduced in order to be bought again.
Beside loot boxes, unsolved bugs after years, a totally failed attempt to imitate Dota, the total lack of user customization like a map editor and so on, the buying of steam positive reviews (in 1 day they had like hudreads of 5-10 minutes playtime thumbs up), the most memorable moment has been when they introduced pay per team.
Basically only premium users could make a team of 5 while all the rest could at most 3+2. No custom games obviously, just matchmaker.
The owner of that company, also developer of the game, had no shame whatsoever. Every single time they ripped off money from people the reply was always “wtf you want? game is in alpha. Read the eula.”
And for 100 people complaining of their forum there were just a couple of them totally detached from reality who were promoting that game like pro scammers.
So, compared to that, Reforged is still a masterpiece and this forum is just full of people that in the end still care about WC3.
The disappointment is due to the fact that Blizzard is the last company you expect something like Reforged to be delivered from…

They literally robbed their own dedicated fan base by making them pay $40 for a version of a game that is worse than TFT which was already owned by many of those same people. Given desync issues, no functionality from Reforged could even be used. TFT settings have to be used, but the game is worse than TFT. Literally something that should go down in the history books of gaming as brutal swindle.

I would trust the remastering of Reforged to an indie company more then Blizzard.
But i don’t disagree with you, the ground level classic team devs are good people, that were backstabbed by Blizzard, same as how Blzzard utterly betrayed the core community.

…that’s not what I said at all.
You are right in a way or another, but to be fair, not reforged is masterpiece. The game on which one reforged is forced on it is the masterpiece, not reforged…reforged is just a shiny foil on the masterpiece and where the foil wasn’t enough to cover the whole masterpiece they cut some contents from it.
